"Camping - The place as always great the sanitary facilities always clean and the owners very courteous and helpful and from the place you have a beautiful view of the lake and mountains I'm already looking forward to being back in October

"Square with direct lake access - Good for a weekend, with lido, fitness equipment and beach promenade in the immediate vicinity. No shopping facilities nearby, but the tourist information center with swimming pool. There is also seating with a bookcase for rainy weather.

"Great - Very cozy, small family campsite with mostly permanent campers. The sanitary facilities are absolutely sufficient and absolutely clean, although there are only two sinks, where you sometimes have to wait a short time at the weekend until you can wash your dishes. The campsite offers a bread roll service and a small selection of drinks. Direct access to the Diemelsee, the lido is perhaps only a 5-minute walk away. There is a small, fine swimming pool right next door, as well as a restaurant with a beer garden. Also ideal for families with dogs.

"Focus on permanent campers - We stayed there with our parents-in-law over the Whitsun weekend. The owners are very friendly and solve any problems quickly and easily. That is second to none. We found the campsite to be very informal. As is often the case in Germany, the focus is on permanent campers. Anglers obviously find the best conditions because they stand like reeds on the shore. Recommended for a long weekend. Unsuitable as a stopover as it is far from any highway. Restaurant on site and bread roll service are good. Overall price and performance are good. A repeat visit is not out of the question....

"Traditional campsite with permanent campers - The site is not necessarily suitable for transit campers. As short-term guests, we were put on the rear pitches away from the lake. The access roads are so narrow that they are not suitable for larger caravans and motorhomes. The restaurant/ pub and beer garden are great, the site behind it needs a bit more maintenance and the owners would certainly need to invest in pitches with lake views to attract transit campers for a longer stay. The owners are friendly and very helpful. A nogo is the operation of a sawmill next door, so that the night ends punctually at 7 o'clock.

Die Preise für Zelt oder Wohnwagen betragen pro Tag: € 10,00 Stellgebühr, einschl. PKW € 7,00 pro Person, für Kinder bis 14 Jahre € 5,00 Die Preise verstehen sich einschließlich der gesetzlichen Mehrwertsteuer. Eine Tourismusabgabe in Höhe von € 2,00 an die Gemeinde Diemelsee wird pro Tag und Person erhoben. Kinder bis 14 Jahre und hiervon befreit.
