"Ok for the transit - We spontaneously got a pitch here when we were passing through and were warmly welcomed. The wash houses were a bit older, but in good condition.

"Just passing through but confusing - We were actually just looking for a place to stay overnight while we were passing through. Unfortunately, the nearby truck stop was overcrowded with trucks. So there were no pitches left for motorhomes/caravans. We were pleased to find a sign for a nearby campsite and decided to go there. When we arrived with our camper van after a long, dark and somewhat steep drive, we were a little taken aback, as the short-term pitch was cordoned off with a chain. After a closer inspection, however, we realized that the lock was not locked, but only hacked. So we set up on this pitch to spend the night. The next morning we wanted to pay our bill, and the operator was completely baffled as to how we could get onto the site. That was our whole experience and we moved on straight away. Apparently nothing has changed from the assessment some time ago that the operator is a bit confused. We would only use this site again for a short overnight stay in an extreme emergency.

"Good alternative - We liked the place we chose at short notice because of the Corona period, it offered everything we were looking for: Nature, quiet location despite the monotonous humming A5 highway in the background, friendly owners, play opportunities for children, hiking and cycling opportunities on the old railroad embankment (Little Red Riding Hood Cycle Path), barbecue facilities, plenty of space and walking opportunities for dogs, supplies nearby (Kirchheim) easily available. We also liked the nearby bathing reservoir. We will come back again for a long weekend. The facilities all seem a bit outdated (if you don't mind), but were clean and well maintained. Whether this will be the case with full occupancy is another matter.

"Good for a stopover - The site is very large and the pitches are also big enough. The peace and quiet and the friendly staff were very convincing. The site is absolutely fine for transit travelers. Some compromises need to be made in the appearance of individual power connections and the recycling areas and the hedges and trees, and the permanent campers urgently need to be tidied up (in some cases: demolition).

"Good transit point - The campsite is easy to reach from the A7. A little difficult in winter when there is snow and ice, as the site is uphill. Over the years, the outdoor pitch has become considerably more expensive.

"Overnight stay - Operators are very friendly, but have no plan . Electricity is given as a flat rate , suddenly everything is dark . Is then billed according to KW, which is not pointed out . We were sitting there at 34° and suddenly the air conditioning goes off . And that with two children and 4 dogs . A place for the power consumption is also not assigned . For us it was the first and last time on this place .
