"Not to be recommended - We were at this campsite in July 2015 and had booked in March. It was mentioned in other forums that the site was very popular with the French. When we arrived, we were given a pitch that was far too small, even though we had indicated how big our caravan was. The second pitch was directly in front of 5 small toilet blocks and was also too small. The third pitch was okay in terms of size, but was bordered by a hump on the road, which promptly broke the front wheel. Over time, we learned that other guests had chosen their pitch beforehand. This was denied to us. We came to the conclusion that there seemed to be different treatment of guests.

Very pleasantly located in a 7-hectare undulating park, 800 metres from the large sandy beach of Boyardville and 150 metres from the market, the shops and the fishing port, camping village Le Signol is the ideal spot for discovering the …charms of the Ile d'Oléron and Fort Boyard. A barbecue with friends, karaoke, entertainment... The grown-ups will enjoy themselves as much as the kids! The icing on the cake is that the bridge linking the mainland with the Ile d'Oléron is free!
