"Very nice location - We always go back here.nice hiking possibilities to the beach.a little quieter than elsewhere in the region.good shopping facilities (on the square itself and in the surrounding area).

"Beautiful place close to the beach - The campsite is beautifully situated on a small road just behind the dune belt. It is very quiet as the road is not very busy. There is a small restaurant on site (pick-up or terrace) and a supermarket, which is really well stocked. This is important because the nearest town is a few kilometers away. The pitches (all on grass) are mostly not parceled out and lie in long rows next to each other. There are also many bungalows, mobile homes etc. for rent on the site. The whole complex is quite spacious, but doesn't seem too big. The sanitary facilities are good, adequately sized and clean. The campsite is an ideal starting point for extensive cycle tours to Alkmar and Den Helder. We liked it very much :)

"Absolutely recommendable - I'm reviewing the rental accommodation "Luxe bungalow 6 persons" and the general facilities - I didn't look at the caravan pitches. The house was super equipped, everything you need in the kitchen, plus Miele washing machine & dryer - great. There were useful welcome packs with e.g. washing up liquid and cloths, coffee and tea. The house was neatly cleaned and very lovingly furnished. Only the bedrooms were VERY cramped! In one bedroom only the bed, not even room for a wardrobe. The house has a parking lot, but you can't drive right up to the house, you have to walk a bit. The house also has a large terrace. It's a 15-minute walk to the beach - it's really great, there's a beach restaurant right next door. Right next door is a play paradise "De Goudvies" where you can spend the whole day. We also took a trip to the marine museum. The staff are super friendly, always nice and helpful. The supermarket is quite large and has a great selection of bread rolls. The playground equipment is okay, but also very busy. We felt very comfortable and will definitely be back.

"Always beautiful..... - After almost 20 years, we returned to the campsite with our grown-up children. Although a lot has changed, we immediately felt at home again. The sanitary facilities were always clean despite high occupancy. You can actually buy everything in the store. The beach is beautiful and easily accessible on various paths through the dunes. The campsite restaurant was unfortunately closed, but there was a very good burger van in the parking lot instead. All in all, it was a very nice vacation and we wondered why we hadn't been there for so long! :-)

"familiar fair-weather pitch - Fantastic location in good weather. A little difficult in bad weather, site was under water at some point and relatively few opportunities to reach bad weather activities without a car. Gastronomy on site was limited to burger stall (probably due to corona), but good restaurants on the beach. Sanitary facilities could be cleaner (partly due to the other campers)

"Dubious corona handling - The approach in the Corona crisis shows the real face of the owners of this place...zero reaction...no accommodating...no goodwill....so in the end...they have their money!
