"Holidaymaker - If you like to chase hearts around the table, Dust clouds due to the cars constantly driving through the area, You like to wade in ice water in a dirty shower. You like messy toilets that don't even work. You can find it all here.

"Camping with a view of Trakai - We spent a day at the campsite with the caravan. The site is very nicely located and spacious, but in large parts it is getting on in years and in need of renovation. The sanitary facilities were dirty and old and some of the doors wouldn't close. The lighting was also partially defective. The existing leisure facilities, such as saunas and restaurant, were out of order and appeared to have been unused for some time. One slide was overgrown and broken. It had rained during the night and we had a huge puddle in front of the WW. Some of the tents were actually submerged in a lake, so be careful when looking for a spot. The positive thing was the view of Trakai from the beach and the peace and quiet, as well as the possibility of getting there quickly for sightseeing. Overall, the place was certainly very nice, but problematic in its condition. The price in particular was disproportionate to the service. We paid over 40 EURO for 3 people with caravan and car, which I consider to be considerably overpriced. For this reason, I cannot recommend the campsite, especially as there are alternatives in the area.

"Beautiful place with a view of Trakai and the castle - Nice place for campers and all others. Bathing area with a direct view of the castle. Spacious site with restaurant and various sanitary facilities. Sauna on the sand. The whole area is very well kept. Garbage is emptied several times.

"Beautiful place near Trakai - The site is beautifully situated directly on the lake with a view of Trakai Castle. There are plenty of pitches on a large meadow near the water and on two terraces above the meadow. There is also rental accommodation and a restaurant. The pitches are level and some are under mature trees. The sanitary facilities are spread over two buildings. The ones in the upper building near the reception are much better maintained and newer. Overall, the cleanliness and condition are rather average. The reception is very friendly (English). The location is the advantage of the campsite. I doubt whether all the activities offered on the website are actually possible. The various saunas looked to me as if they hadn't been in use for some time. But I could be wrong. Overall, the place looks a little outdated. However, you can sit very nicely down by the water (loungers are available) and enjoy the wonderful view. We were there for one night and felt comfortable. However, if you only want to stay one night after a visit to Trakai, you can also find private pitches in Trakai with a camper van.
