"great, family campsite in a prime location !!! - I booked the campsite at quite short notice and even the response was very friendly and tried to make something possible for me despite Corona times. At the campsite itself, we were greeted by the very friendly groundsman Mr. Oswald, who is obviously really passionate about the campsite and its guests. We had a small pitch in the last corner of the campsite and even from this pitch it was only a short walk to the lake and the sanitary facilities. The access to the lake is beautifully situated, there is an idyllic meadow with plenty of shade, benches and even its own jetty. The sanitary facilities were always clean and well maintained, with their own dishwashing room, coin-operated washing machine and dryer, as well as a room for emptying the chemical toilet. There is a large restaurant, also located directly on the lake, with a large terrace and a great menu. During the day there is also a kiosk selling chips, ice cream, etc. ! I'll cut a long story short, it really is a great campsite and we'll be back !!!

"Incredibly unfriendly! - I don't know what the campsite operator has been up to, but you simply can't treat customers like that. I've never seen anything so unfriendly at any campsite and I've been to quite a few. That's why I can't recommend this campsite to anyone!

"Nice CP, but no 5 stars - We (57/55) were at Camping Wagner with our caravan for a spontaneous long weekend in August. Despite the high season, the always friendly and helpful groundsman Mr. Oswald still found a pitch for us. The site is rather small with around 65 pitches. Around 25 pitches are for tourists. The location directly on Lake Waginger See is brilliant. You can hardly hear anything from the main road. The on-site restaurant was well frequented, and not just by camping guests. The wifi is free and, depending on the location, is easy to receive. This campsite is advertised on the internet as a 5-star site. It therefore has to measure up to other campsites in this category. And it has some catching up to do. The pitches have electricity and water connections. There is no waste water or satellite. There is also no self-service market. But there is a bread roll service in the morning, except on Sundays. The sanitary facilities are clean, but not at the level of a premium site. You won't find a permanently manned reception either. In our opinion, this site is better rated with 3 stars, but then with full points. Despite the criticism, the campsite is recommendable. We were satisfied and had a great time.

"Nice little campsite - Despite the start of the vacations in Bavaria and a fully booked pitch, Mr. Oswald still found us a super nice spot in the shade. Electricity, water etc. all available. Even the dog is allowed in the water in the morning and evening away from the lido. The restaurant has a good menu and the staff are friendly and courteous. Unfortunately we were only there for the weekend, but will definitely be back.
