"Everything was fine so far. - After a short call - easy reception - easy pitch allocation, clean sanitary facilities - small mosquito problem (bearable) super distance to Edam, restaurant, everything was fine with us so far. We will be back .

"Beautiful campsite right on the water - Nice campsite with its own beach, very friendly staff, bread roll service if ordered in advance. In one of the two sanitary buildings unfortunately no hand soap and no hand dryer, sanitary otherwise ok. But also used by the boaters mooring in the harbor. There is a restaurant right next to the campsite with street vending. Due to the location directly on the harbor, it was busier at the weekend and therefore a little restless.

"A week of pure relaxation - Checking in with the ACSI club card went quickly and smoothly, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the location of the campsite on a headland directly on the Ijselmeer is quiet and a good starting point for cycling tours and various activities. The adjoining restaurant is highly recommended. Bread roll service at the reception.

"Only the sanitary facilities spoil the overall picture... - The three of us spent our summer vacation in one of the trekking huts for rent. We would describe the cabins as "functional", no more and no less. The location of the campsite is great, right on the Ijsselmeer and the associated marina. The campsite has an outdoor pool which is both a blessing and a curse. It's great for children, especially the slide. Unfortunately, the bathers also use the campers' sanitary buildings and sometimes leave them in a very unclean state. Due to the cleaning intervals, this sometimes remains the case overnight. The operator should definitely plan an extra cleaning shift here. The restaurant and snack bar on the site are excellent and the reception staff are friendly. We will certainly come back again.

"Plenty of upside potential - We stayed two nights with the motorhome on the CP. Registration very friendly, uncomplicated. First choose your pitch and pay on departure. The pitches are nice on grass and big enough. The sanitary facilities on the campsite are getting on in years and are also unkempt. We therefore used the building on the beach, which is newer but not particularly clean. But this is also used by the beach visitors. The water quality on the beach is poor and not ideal for swimming. The campsite is in a good location for trips to Edam or Volendam. There is a nice playground at the entrance.

"Cheese market on the Ijsselmeer - All European nations are represented on the course. Nice, speedy reception. Bread roll service. Shopping facilities: information at reception (by bike). Swimming is very good in the murky fresh water. Edam is perfectly accessible on foot or better by bike: There is a small but nice cheese market on Wednesdays.
