"Simple, small space - Small campsite right by the bathing lake. We camped there for the first time with our large house tent and found it very suitable. As Germans, we wanted just such a place with "Dutch flair", but just after the border in beautiful surroundings. You can get that here too. The Obelink store is not far away, so you can quickly buy anything you might need at the beginning. We also found the city center of Winterswijk worth seeing and really enjoyed the vacation overall! The disadvantages mentioned are manageable and understandable when you consider the size of the campsite. Unfortunately, when we were there, there was a festival on the other side of the lake, so that one evening/night we only heard bass "thumping", but fortunately that was over the next day - but the campsite and its operator can't help that.

"Nice little campsite - Ideal campsite for exploring the varied Achterhoek and the beautiful town of Winterswijk. Ideal for cyclists. Optimal supply of bread rolls (easy to order via app). Sufficient and clean sanitary facilities. What is still missing is one or the other individual washing cubicle (so the baby washroom is misused for this purpose)

"Stay in April 23 - The place is very well maintained. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Winterswijk is a lovely town with two nice market days. Not to forget "Obeling is not far away".

"Pure relaxation - It was a great stay on the site, just the right size for us and our two dogs. The pitches are large and everything runs smoothly. The surroundings are really a dream if you are a nature lover. Winterswijk is a 30-minute walk away. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back.

"Very nice campsite - A quiet place, very clean and new sanitary building, really nice operators, fresh bread rolls, I like the shower coins because I only pay for the water I use, they also pay attention to waste separation, there are plenty of fresh water points, center only about 2km, swimming lake with large dog beach, great area for walking and cycling,

"Very nicely located place - We combined a weekend shopping trip at Obelink with a stay at CP Hilgelomeer. Very nice little site, very friendly owners. Ideal for anglers and water sports enthusiasts, only 20 m from the lake. We will be back!
