"Beautiful family campsite in Holland, close to the German border - We (2 adults and 2 children (9 and 10)) stayed at the campsite for a short vacation and we liked it very much. The campsite is a bit out of the way, but therefore very quiet (except for the constant, very loud barking of dogs). We had a "premium" pitch in the rear area. The pitches here are beautifully laid out and very, very large. Really great. The "normal" pitches are laid out in individual, round fields. Check in and out uncomplicated with license plate recognition. Very friendly staff at reception. Also many permanent campers. Despite the proximity to Germany, many local Dutch guests. Therefore, almost everything (including the language) was in Dutch, but that wasn't a problem. Very good and clean sanitary facilities. Great infrastructure (store with fresh bread rolls in the morning, snack bar etc.) and lots of play facilities (including a small football pitch, basketball, tennis and endless playgrounds, children's entertainment (NL) etc.) for the kids. For both younger and older children. Nice swimming pool with water slide. We were a little disappointed with the indoor pool. Quite plain and simple and not that big. But there is a small children's pool. It also smelled a bit unpleasant in the indoor pool (perhaps because the toilets are also in the indoor pool). And access only with facial recognition, which was a bit problematic in terms of functionality. The loud barking of dogs was a bit annoying in our pitch area, which was considerable. Otherwise, as I said, we liked it very much and we will definitely be back...
