"Full price with half the performance - An idyllic place that promises and delivers peace and quiet, but also offers the hustle and bustle of the nearby town. This came at an excessive price for my taste during our stay at the end of March, especially as the ladies' sanitary facilities were locked and were to remain so until April 1st. The pitches are large, but unfortunately not accessible at our time (rainy previous days) so that we had to camp with our Knausrich on the way. The only good thing was that we were the first to leave the following day, otherwise it would have been a tight squeeze. Our conclusion is that the place itself is beautiful. If you are looking for peace and quiet and an idyllic setting, this is the place for you. I blame the points that we didn't like and didn't want to fix on my vacation planning, "Don't go on vacation so early ;-)". And remember, camper van drivers say hello to each other.

"Well-equipped campsite near Hoorn - t'Venhop is a large site with well-developed pitches. There is a friendly reception where you can also pre-order bread rolls for the next day. This is important as the site is well outside the village. There is also a restaurant, but no shopping facilities on site. Kayaks can be hired and there is a smart entry and exit point that is suitable for non-professionals. ADAC members get a 10% discount (as is often the case in the NL). Which in July still means 25 € / night (motorhome, 2 p., electricity). Showers cost extra (50 cents). Hot water for washing up 20 cents. No toilet paper included :-) What may be annoying: You can hear the nearby highway as well as a railroad line and air traffic. The WLAN is available everywhere, but costs 1/2 hourly. The rating is based on an overnight stay!

"Beautiful place with river - We were there for one night. The pitch was very full. Therefore (I assume) we were given a pitch without grass. This was rather bad as it was very dirty and dusty. Sanitary was clean, but 3 toilets for men for the size of the place very little. The shower head could not be adjusted and the temperature could not be regulated. Hot water to wake up costs 20 cents extra. There is a restaurant next door. Guests of the campsite get a 10% discount. The entrance to the site leads over a wooden bridge with a maximum load capacity of 6.3 tons. You sweat a bit when crossing the bridge :-D. Lots of permanent guests.

"Too expensive - Nice CP in a mobile home park.The place makes a well-kept impression.We were welcomed friendly.There is a bread service.The rolls are not recommended.A restaurant is located on the square.The sanitary facilities are simple and clean.Unfortunately, toilet paper is to bring.Also when washing hands, the soap and towels are missing.The showers are subject to a charge.The CP is located next to a highway and a railroad line.the approach path of Amsterdam can also be heard.the place is optimally located for excursions.7.50€ is charged for reservations and a deposit is due.the place can only be reached via a small narrow bridge up to 6 T. The access road is also quite narrow.

"CP near tourist town - nicely laid out but not quiet - Beautifully laid out with hedges - rather small site between highway and railroad. Good starting point for visits to Hoorn (on the cycle path 4km) or Volendam/Edam or Alkmaar - each 20 km - also worth seeing Monnickendam and Marken, sanitary and water on the site in the low season only limited but clean, pitches quite soft (help with the tractor), very friendly, helpful operator, unfortunately no store, nice restaurant nearby, 1st dog free of charge, walking directly from the site through woods and meadows
