"No mosquitoes at the moment - Panic about mosquitoes everywhere, probably caused by the numerous comments. Not a problem at the moment though. Cycle path past the river. Supermarket easily accessible by bike via cycle path as underpass AB, 1 km

"Nice place in Pavia - The campsite is located on the edge of the beautiful town of Pavia, which can be reached on foot via a pleasant 2 km path along the Ticino river (walk to the bridge and then turn left into the town center). The campsite itself is located in a quiet area directly on the river. It is highly recommended to take mosquito repellent with you, otherwise it is almost unbearable. The plus point is the pool, which can make the stay very pleasant, especially with children. There is a toddler pool and a medium-deep, larger pool as well as free sun loungers. The pool area is not of outstanding quality, but is still well maintained and clean. Apart from that, the site doesn't really have anything to offer apart from its convenient location for a stopover. There are no facilities, neither a store, bar nor restaurant. However, there is a tiny grocery store and a wine store, as well as a bar (with a continuous kitchen), gelateria and a good restaurant within 200 m walking distance along the road towards the center of Pavia. The campsites are not particularly large and some of them are unkempt. The sanitary facilities are small and dated, but at least clean.

"Place for an overnight stay - Place is fine for an overnight stay. The sanitary facilities are a bit outdated but were clean despite good occupancy. Due to the proximity to the river there were unfortunately a lot of mosquitoes which makes a stay without mosquito repellent in the evening in front of the camper almost impossible. The small pool is a good place to cool off.

"Closed - Unfortunately, we couldn't find access to the campsite. A barrier was closed from the road and we couldn't find access from the other side. What a pity.

"Pleasant place - Shady, large pitches, good sanitary facilities. There were still a lot of mosquitoes in mid-September, but a nice, open lounge area with fly screens. Bakery and restaurant two hundred meters away. Beautiful cycle and footpath along the Ticino right into the center (2-3 km).
