"Great place-questionable children's program - The place is very clean, including the sanitary facilities. The staff is super friendly and the area is beautiful. The lake is great for swimming! The children's program is provided by a missionary church that uses an openly brutal and regressive choice of words. During the service there was open incitement against wealthy people - what if a child from such a family is present? You feel like you've been brainwashed and that as an adult, I wouldn't let my children go there!

"Beautifully situated - Very friendly staff. The simple, functional sanitary facilities were always clean during our two-week stay. The unparceled tourist pitches are located on steeply sloping lakeside meadows. The usual drive-on wedges are barely sufficient to align camping vehicles reasonably straight in all directions. If, like us, you can come to terms with this, you can feel at home here.

"Great campsite with lots of love - We were guests on the site for a long weekend from Wednesday evening to Sunday lunchtime. We received a friendly welcome even after 6 pm and were guided to the pitch. The site is located in a valley. Mobile internet is therefore a bit difficult, but there is WiFi everywhere which can be booked for a small fee. Bread rolls can be ordered fresh from the bakery via app and then picked up the next day at the reception/barrier. The site has 2 large sanitary blocks. One near the entrance and one very centrally located on the pitch. The central sanitary block looks a bit older but is always perfectly clean and fully functional. We had a great and relaxing few days and will definitely be back :)

"Very nice and well-kept place - The campsite is very well laid out and easy to reach. The operators are friendly and helpful. The permanent campers are also very nice. The sanitary buildings are clean and adequate.

Situated beneath …Greifenstein castle in the charming Ulm valley between Westerwald and the Lahn-Dill-Area it is ideal for a relaxing and refreshing holiday. Try a long walk through extensive woodlands or go for a nice dip in the lake and a sunbath afterwards on the adjoining lawn. Do a game of open air chess or have a nice beer and a chat with cheerful campers. There are many places to go for a trip in the surrounding area, such as Greifenstein Castle housing the German Bell Museum, Beilstein Palace, and the historical towns of Herborn, Dillenburg and Braunfels with their beautiful timberframed houses. Or visit the cathedrals at Limburg and Wetzlar.
