"Beautiful place on a great little lake - A nice little site, dominated by permanent campers and bungalows. The bungalows date back to the good old GDR days. The operator is very friendly and helpful. But the permanent campers are friendly and everything is clean and tidy. The lake is a small natural lake, but dogs are not allowed in it. Nevertheless, it is beautiful and dogs are otherwise welcome. There is a fairly large playground for children! The site is in a small valley and the mobile phone network is quite poor. Vodafone is okay, O2 not so much. I always have two SIM cards from different providers at the start for such cases. In the sanitary building you have to pay with 50 cent coins. In view of the overall price, however, this is perfectly fine. Twice a week a bakery van comes with a wide range of products. Perfect for getting away from it all.

"Mega nice stay - We had a very nice relaxing stay in beautiful nature. When my husband fell ill, they helped us very quickly and we were looked after very kindly. The campsite is very clean, in quiet and beautiful nature with very loving care. All in all, we will definitely be back and look forward to spending some relaxing hours in beautiful surroundings

"Great Whitsun on a beautiful course - We spent 5 wonderful days here over Whitsun and were even able to celebrate my birthday undisturbed. It was quite busy that weekend, but the people were all nice and sociable, especially the neighboring permanent campers. Always helpful and sociable... The site is in the middle of the forest and there are several hiking trails leading directly from there into the forest and the surrounding area. The Bernshäuser Kutte is highly recommended... also a sinkhole lake like the Schönsee and really beautiful. Just walk around it, it's wonderful. The snack bar was open from 12 to 7 pm. Unfortunately, I don't know whether this is the case every day or only on certain busy days... If the snack bar is too unspectacular for you, you can treat yourself in the nearby Bernshausen restaurant "Zur Grünen Kutte" - very tasty and highly recommended. Cell phone reception is very limited in places. but you're there to relax and not to chat and Whatsapp. All in all, a very nice, cozy and idyllic campsite and very reasonably priced. We will definitely be back!

"All right for a weekend - The site and facilities are clean and the water quality of the lake is also good. Unfortunately you can only buy your bread rolls a few places further on, the site is very sloping. The showers work with coins, there is no cell phone reception (which has its advantages). The operators are very friendly and the price is right for what you get. We really liked the children's playground.

Die Straße zum Campingplatz führt durch ein Waldgebiet. Der Parkplatz befindet sich vor der Schranke zum Platz gleich bei der Anmeldung und die Stellplätze befinden sich auf der Wiese. Der Abenteuerspielplatz und der kleine See machen den Platz familienfreundlich attraktiv, …geangelt werden darf nicht. Ihre Vierbeiner sind herzlich Willkommen und müssen an der Leine geführt werden. Die Sanitäranlagen sind sehr gepflegt und für Menschen mit Rollstuhl geeignet. Zum Service gehören Toilettenpapier und Handwaschseife. Die Wertmarken für die Duschen sind bei der Rezeption erhältlich. Sitzmöglichkeiten für Zeltcamper sowie Wasser- und Stromanschlüsse sind an zentralen Wasserstellen zu finden.
