"Big failure! - Unfortunately, the campsite has no amenities that are considered to be today's standard. The mobile homes and caravans are crammed together on the pitches so that we had to stand window to window. When we complained about this, we were brushed off in a very unfriendly manner. To date we have not received an invoice for our stay. All in all a great pity, it doesn't have to be like this!

"Very beautifully situated, family-run campsite with few shortcomings - Beautifully situated, family-run campsite with few shortcomings. Advantages: Directly on the beach, environmental awareness, beautiful location on the island, good restaurant on site, at least small supermarket outside (high prices as usual on the island), wash house quite acceptable despite full occupancy in August Disadvantages: Very few pitches, unattractive playground, no animated entertainment for children (can of course also be an advantage...), price at 5-star level

"Very nice place with a beautiful sandy beach. - Located directly on the beautiful sandy beach in Lacona Bay. Very nice, well-maintained pitch with new, clean sanitary facilities. There is a small cocktail bar where we were able to watch the World Cup matches. Once a week there was a chicken grill truck that made the WORLD'S BEST chicken!!! (highly recommended) There is a restaurant on the beach where you can eat well and also get pizza. But there are also good restaurants in Lacona, the price is ok, the food is good. !! The campsite is not really cheap either, but it clearly stands out from the surrounding "cheaper sites". We've been to this campsite several times and the beautiful beach and well-kept grounds have kept us coming back. What I missed every time, however, was that there was virtually no entertainment in Lacona in the evenings. Lacona is simply a small, not really beautiful place where the *dog is buried*. (at least in the low season) If you want to stroll around a bit or eat an ice cream in a curious place, you have to take the car and drive to Capoliveri or Marino di Campo. But otherwise it is definitely recommended.

"Too narrow - We chose this place because the reviews here totally convinced us. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed. The pitch we had booked six months earlier was appalling. Very narrow and in a corner with three caravans around us. The pitches are square and practically close together. There is no camping atmosphere for us. The toilets are so small that you bump your head on the rotten doors. The electricity is too weak for a kettle. Unfortunately, the advertised Wi-Fi only works at reception. You have to go to the square next door to do your shopping. The pizzeria on the beach is very uncomfortable, but the pizza is delicious. Unfortunately a bit expensive.

"Camping by the sea with small pitches - We have been to this campsite many times. The location is very nice. What we don't like is the size of the pitches, especially those facing the sea. In the rear area, the pitches are partly demarcated and somewhat larger.

"Small campsite with a great location - It was our first time on Elba and we were very satisfied with this campsite. We stood with our camper van in the 3rd row under a shade, which was very pleasant given the high temperatures. Electricity directly at the pitch, water unfortunately not. The sanitary facilities were all very clean. The café/restaurant was great, the cappuccino the best in the bay. The water was clean and the beach shallow. The shopping facilities are good, you get everything you need. We will be back!
