"Good location on the river Ahr - We received a very friendly welcome. Sanitary facilities were only available to a limited extent due to the corona pandemic. Bread roll service in the morning. Restaurant was unfortunately closed due to Cororna pandemic, but there was a food truck on site. Good starting point for cycling and hiking. We were right by the river. The motorcyclists on the road on the other side of the river were a bit annoying, the other traffic was normal and didn't bother us.

"Description camping - Camping in itself is good, just in the wrong place. Or the road near the campsite should not have been there. The road in front of the campground is driven a lot and terribly fast. In the tunnel near the campsite they give extra gas. This causes a lot of noise nuisance. In the morning at 06:00 the freight and other traffic comes on. It seemed like they drove through your caravan. This was also the reason why we only stayed one afternoon and night. Campsite is not recommended for recreational or quiet people!!!!

"Nice campsite with restrictions - We were there with 2 couples the last weekend in April for a red wine hike. The site is actually very nicely situated directly on the Ahr. Actually means that the car noise can be heard very clearly from 6:00 am. The railroad line is about 200 m away. You can also hear the train braking and starting up from there. However, the transport links are very good. The sanitary building is quite new and was clean at all times. Some of the pitches are very uneven. The fresh water supply is sometimes quite far away from the pitches. The same applies to the electricity supply. The Acsi card was not accepted because although you are listed there, no discounts are granted (only in the main catalog).

"Great place in a very nice location with mini beauty flaws - We came to the site for an overnight stay after the reception closed. The site is approx. 10 km from the A61. Registration went smoothly via an intercom system. We had clarified this on the phone beforehand. Located in a wine-growing area. Pitches not parceled out. Positive: Very clean site. Seasonal pitches, permanent campers, unused permanent camper pitches > everything in picobello condition. Children's playground, "main building" with sanitary facilities also make a perfect impression. Could park in front of the barrier. Not so good: bread rolls only if ordered in advance, hot showers only with tokens (no longer up to date for me), demarcation of the site by railroad line and main road with tunnel end. The road wouldn't even be so bad if the heroes of the highway drove normally in the tunnel and didn't cause unnecessary noise by revving engines. That's a bit annoying. But it's not the CP's fault. Our "quick stop" = come in the evening, leave in the morning cost a very reasonable EUR 13.00 all in

"Very relaxed - Very nice campsite, which is generously laid out and not firmly parceled out. As there is enough space, the registration and search for a pitch is very relaxed. They didn't respond to my reservation requests, but it doesn't seem to be necessary, as there was enough space even on Ascension weekend. The road and the train - well, we're not sensitive and slept well. There is no WiFi or only in the reception area (and it didn't work there). The sanitary facilities in the new main building are excellent, the others are very old but clean and functional. We will definitely be back

"Victoria Station - Very nice Cp in a good location, very clean sanitary facilities and very friendly operators, bread service and small bistro on site, good restaurant in ca.250m away, no shopping facilities nearby, unfortunately the place is also exactly between a main road and the railroad line, the train (diesel railcar) came every half hour until midnight past the place, during the day hardly to hear but in the evening extremely annoying, Since the place is located directly at the exit of a tunnel on the road side, the motorcyclists had a lot of fun turning up their boxes, on Fridays and Saturdays the humming was very annoying all day, but on Sundays from 9am it was unbearable so that we fled in the morning, very sad otherwise I would have given 5 stars, so unfortunately only 3

Alle kennen unseren Traditionsplatz an der Ahr und machen gerne Station. Wir tun alles, damit es allen gefällt. Hallo und willkommen …bei uns an der Ahr. In der ruhigen Natur, unter schattenspenden Bäumen, auf weitläufigen Wiesen an der Ahr, nah am Wald und den Weinbergen, Burgen und malerischen Weinorten ? hier machen Naturliebhaber seit Jahren gerne Station. Ahr, Rhein und Eifel haben viel zu bieten. Die Ferienzeit bei uns kann vielfältig gestaltet werden. An unserem Platz führen Wander- und die Radwanderwege direkt vorbei. Auch der Bahnhof ist nah dabei. So sind die nächsten Ziele auch ohne Auto leicht zu erreichen. Unser Dorf Kreuzberg, ein Ortsteil von Altenahr, liegt zwischen dem Weinanbaugebiet der unteren und dem typischen Eifelcharakter der oberen Ahr. Ausgangspunkt für hervorragende Wanderungen. In Kreuzberg befindet sich die noch heute bewohnte Burg Kreuzberg. Der älteste Bauteil, der Bergfried der 1686 zerstörten Burganlage, stammt aus dem 14. Jahrhundert, während die restlichen Gebäudeteile um 1760 entstanden.

Über die A 61 sind wir leicht zu erreichen. Am Kreuz Meckenheim Abfahrt Altenahr. Von dort sind es nur noch 7 km bis zu uns. Über die Umgehung brauchen Sie nicht durch Altenahr zu fahren. Nach der zweiten Unterführung fahren …Sie rechts nach Kreuzberg rein. Beim Kreisel fahren Sie links, nochmal links und dann unter der neu ausgebauten Unterführung her auf unseren Platz.
