"One of the best and cleanest municipal courses in Portugal - There are always big differences between Muni. and private C-pitches. You have to pay attention to that. It was flat and paved. That is important for us. The sanitary facilities are on the hill and were very clean. The restaurant was also good. - We were here in 2004 and 2008.

" - Giving a rating like this is always a tricky thing, because everyone sees it differently. Like us, who can cope with simple facilities, it was ok. As a stopover or station for the start of day trips, it is still recommended. The sanitary facilities were already very run-down, so something needs to be done. The site itself was very clean and some work had been done on the structure. After the upper plateau, the terrain slopes downwards and space has also been created there in the form of terraces. There is no pool, but down the slope (see stairs) there is an outdoor pool (I don't know the price), or you can bathe in the river like many locals. If you have already gone down there, you can also walk a few 15 minutes further and store in a very good store, because the restaurant on the square was closed at our time.

Tha camping Vila Real is located inside the city, almost in the center, more precisely 10 minutes away, by foot. The total area is 12.000 m2, divided in a main camp for autocaravans, caravans e large tents and several layered …levels for small tents. The view is wonderful, allowing views to the river Corgo, the municipal swimming pools, and the city park, wich can be accessed through a stairway. The afforest level is very dense, what makes the parking very comfortaable. It´s one of the most enjoyable places in town which enable wonderful and pleasant moments.
