"Beautiful but sometimes lively place - We stayed at this campsite with our three children (15/11/11) for 14 days in August/September. We had a mobile home from a provider. The site has everything you need. However, it is very large. The supermarket is almost as big as in the cities and the prices are only slightly higher than there. There is a market at the campsite several times a week. Our children enjoyed the evening entertainment, especially the foam party. The pools are not so great for adults and older children. Most of them are only knee-deep. There is only one swimming pool, which is totally overcrowded in summer. However, you can swim in the morning as it is only open to swimmers. The beach nearby is really beautiful. It can be reached via a path for cyclists and pedestrians (recently opened). We had bikes with us so it never bothered us that it was about 1km away. The water was amazing, very clean, clear and warm. The sanitary facilities were always clean and well maintained. There are some lovely little villages nearby (Campiglia Marittima) with great views. I rode my road bike in the area a few times and took the most beautiful ascent to Sassetta. No matter which route you choose, it's fun to ride up there. The only thing that bothered us on the campsite were some noisy neighbors with their barking dogs. Don't get me wrong, but if the dog barks at everyone who walks past the mobile home, it can be really annoying in the long run. Other dogs were quiet. And camping has something to do with relaxation. The site is ideal for families with small children. But we liked it so far.
