"Inexpensive CP with backpacker flair and smart ideas, great value for money! - The cheapest CP in southwest Friesland by far, designed with a lot of creativity and good ideas, attached B&B and various and beautiful rental accommodations. Few and inconspicuous permanent campers and rented kite school WITHOUT rip-offs(!). A small drawback is the location directly at a very busy intersection. Overall simple but well thought-out facilities. The sanitary building is simple and not always flawless, but fits into the concept and serves its purpose. There is a covered communal kitchen with dishwasher and fridge. Paddle boats, SUPs and canoes can be rented on site, the kite school has fair prices (not necessarily common in Holland) and is highly recommended. There is a bread roll service and a very tasty pizza in a small restaurant in the evening, but no other shopping facilities. Workum and Hindeloopen can be reached quickly, the site has no barrier and can therefore be driven on continuously, making it ideal for motorhomes and camper vans. The overall atmosphere is very casual and relaxed, the price-performance ratio is absolutely right, there is a discount card for "repeat offenders", which we will definitely use. Highly recommended!
