"Would not recommend this campsite to anyone. - Unfriendliness at the reception. Dirty/dirty/(partly) rusty sanitary facilities. Cluttered space. Disgusting unisex toilets. Dogs are not kept on a lead. No shopping facilities nearby.

"Perfect - A great place. We rented a large cabin with room for 5 people and it was very clean. There was a private toilet, a small kitchenette and a TV. We were able to watch seals about 3km from the campsite.

"Green and sheltered from the wind behind the dike - A quiet spot for all campers (tents, caravans/mobile homes). Sheltered from the wind by high vegetation. Great as a starting point for cycling tours. But the high dyke and the locks also appeal to walkers. Delfzijl is not far away with its nice town center. Swimming is possible in the shallow water at high tide, but not a hit (shallow, murky, warm). We recommend the fish restaurant "Westerhuis": the kibbeling is particularly fresh and delicious.

"A nice weekend... - The first thing you notice is that all the people you meet here are absolutely helpful and super nice. Registration is in the site's own pub, which we only discovered after searching. The pitches are grass pitches with occasional trees and can be chosen freely. The sanitary facilities are containers with GRP interiors in, to put it kindly, a clearly improvable condition. Due to the disproportionately high number of permanent campers/mobile homes, the site is very quiet. The beach is mainly a grassy dyke. White sand has been piled up in one area. There are no bread rolls here on Sundays! The tip from reception turned out to be the ultimate flop. We then had a brilliant breakfast at Hotel Termunterzijl. Beautifully decorated and an extensive buffet at a reasonable price.

"Great location, nice people, nice place but mobile homes totally outdated, too bad. - The headline says it all. The site is in a great location, clean - apart from a few old mobile homes in a deep sleep, nice attractions for kids, quiet, although more shower blocks are missing.
