"Central location - good for transit - The campsite is close to the town, where we can recommend the adventure pool, among other things. During our stay it was quite quiet and the sanitary facilities were clean and in good order. The pitches are rather small and right next to each other, so a little more distance from the neighbors would be desirable. A good alternative for us as a transit site.

"Campsite lousy, surroundings great - In the high season, everything is stacked here, the meadow is used to the maximum, the campsite seems quite subordinate to the hotel. Staff were polite, but on departure we weren't even asked how satisfied we were... It's great that the Sommercard is included, so the lifts cost nothing for one ride per day.

"Always beautiful - We always feel at home there! We have everything we need in the immediate vicinity. The site itself is well located and clean. You can go straight down to the river, go for a walk or cycle. Also very pleasant for dogs. With the Schladmingscard, many excursion destinations are included.

"Best vacation so far - The staff are very helpful and very friendly. The sanitary facilities are top, clean and as good as new. We had a spacious and shady pitch. There were also sunny pitches. There was no noise pollution the whole week. Pre-ordering bread rolls is practical and easy. The included Dachstein-Schladming-Sommercard means that many admissions (e.g. to the mountain railroads) are free or reduced. We weren't able to use everything, so we will certainly come back again. There are running routes and walking paths away from the campsite (e.g. up the mountain or along the Enns). There are even 2 large supermarkets within walking distance. The campsite's own restaurant is well frequented. However, we had not yet tried it as self-catering. All in all, a great place and easy to reach (first highway, then main road, without serpentines!), but still so close to the mountain. Wonderful!

Profile

The camp-site is very central, but very tranquil, in the middle of the magnificent Dachstein-Tauern region, just a few minutes away from the town centre of Schladming. In summer the site is a perfect starting point for hikes, climbing tours …and tours to the green plateaus and lovely mountains. In winter you can enjoy a sports region with all kinds of activities, a region where world championships have taken place. Tauernautobahn-exit Altenmarkt-Radstadt-Schladming 25 km. Winter camping spaces available from October till Eastern. Greenfee-discount for golfers. In the winter are the prices higher! Rooms are also available Paragliding, rafting, summer skiing, golfcourse partner company.
