"Reach Monschau by bike - Just right for a visit to Monschau. The sanitary facilities are a bit outdated but ok, the large pitches were enough for our camper, but as we only spent one night there, we didn't need much space.

"2 star camping at a 5 star+ price - Once you have been taken in by the feigned friendliness, the misanthropic site management quickly reveals itself. If you don't want to spend your free time in an autonomous dictatorship, this is not the place for you. Sanitary facilities mostly acceptable, pool permanently full of algae and unhealthily green. Dumpster right next to the pool, with the corresponding odor nuisance, only separated by a wooden fence A pricing that in no way corresponds to the condition, the facility and performance. First as a tourist, then as a permanent camper, I experienced unbelievable things on this site that I thought would be unthinkable in 2023. From spring/beginning of summer, loud music on Fridays and Saturdays from below the campsite, which is probably a youth campsite

"Too expensive and unfriendly to cyclists - Strange that a campsite so close to the Vennbahn treats cyclists so neglected. No seating at all, no covered area for bad weather. For a battery charge for e-bikes worth 30 cents, a hefty €3.50 is charged for electricity. Overall, the pitch is very expensive for what it offers. Additional money is also charged for shower tokens. And they don't even work reliably.

"Wonderful location - Everything was wonderful... So friendly and helpful. I've rarely experienced that. You can hike to Monschau. Fantastically beautiful...

"Peace and relaxation guaranteed - Very well-kept, partly terraced and very green site with 160 permanent/seasonal and 60 tourist pitches (some of which are only suitable for motorhomes and tent campers). Two very clean and well-kept sanitary buildings. Restaurant currently closed due to Corona. Playground equipment for small children currently dismantled - but two public playgrounds approx. 500 m away. Quiet location on the outskirts. Beautiful view from some pitches. Very good infrastructure in the immediate vicinity (so shopping also possible without a car). Bus connection. 2 km long dog walk and various hiking possibilities directly from the site. Good price/performance ratio - ACSI at times. Very friendly site manager with a friendly team.
