"Nature camping - Lovely quiet terraced campground giving almost everyone a nice view. Helpful owners. Campground is very steep against a hill. More space for tents than campers or caravans. Showering costs €0.50 per shower of 3 min. Personally I found the water too cold. Plumbing is well maintained but could be larger. Elderly people with mobility problems or less able-bodied I will advise against going here. You can order bread rolls for the next day. Gutach and Hausach are nearby. Where supermarkets are. Plenty of eateries like gasthof, plenty available. Dog is allowed on campsite and in most restaurants if leashed. I like to come back again.

"Very quiet - but the rest? - We had chosen the campsite for one night. At that time - it was low season - it was not very busy, so we were able to choose our pitch and got it. It was great that our 7.17 m long camper van was brought up the slope and onto the pitch. But you have to remember that this campsite was created in 1972 and the conditions have changed. I wouldn't recommend it for people with large caravans and a lack of driving experience. Thank goodness there wasn't much going on, as we were unfortunately on our own and were very challenged to get out of the site again. We did make it, but it was very tight. A big plus, to be honest, is the absolute peace and quiet there. Away from all the noise of civilization. What really bothered me was the fact that the shower in the men's area does provide hot water, but only with a weak jet as opposed to cold water. There's not much in between for hot showers like me. There was no light on in the women's sanitary area for showering, so you were standing in the dark in a closed shower cubicle. And an absolute no-go is the fact that there is no soap container for washing hands in the male and female toilet areas. Personally, based on my own experience, I cannot recommend this to anyone

"Short stay - It is super quiet and beautiful in this valley and really dark at night. The sanitary facilities are new, but unfortunately there are virtually no storage facilities. There are "only" two showers and three washbasins for women when the place is full and you mustn't forget your coins if you want to have a quick shower.

"In the middle of the Black Forest - I had a great time at the campsite with my 2 sons. It is terraced and very quiet in a side valley. We had a great view of the neighboring valley with a deer farm and lots of SW forest! The access road is partly very steep but the CP's own tractor helps. We have camped.

"Unpleasant owners - Never experienced such a rude owner in 25 years. We always walk around the campsite first and then decide. That was never a problem, but this owner reacted in an extremely unpleasant way. We chose the highest spot and were told to park in a narrow spot at the side of the road. I had asked if it was possible to move the car first wrong other guests would come to this spot. Despite the confirmation we get a big mouth the next day. Next: the campsite was supposed to be dog free but there were 2 dogs; noisy teenagers were not addressed. His wife is nice but we will never come here again.

Wer sich nach Urlaub inmitten der Natur sehnt, ist auf dem Campingplatz Zur Mühle im Kirnbachtal an der richtigen Adresse: Der terrassenförmig angelegte Platz liegt inmitten von Hecken und Bäumen; die Zeltplätze befinden sich zum Teil sogar in einem Wald, …wobei jedoch alle Parzellen über einen Stromanschluss verfügen. Für das leibliche Wohl der Urlaubsgäste sorgt die Besitzerfamilie im kleinen Gasthaus mit Biergarten. Hier besteht auch die Möglichkeit, sich mit frischen Backwaren, Lebensmitteln und Getränken zu versorgen. Das Sanitärgebäude wurde erst kürzlich neu renoviert und beherbergt neben Waschgelegenheiten, Toiletten und Duschen auch eine Waschmaschine, einen Trockner sowie ein Spülbecken. Direkt am Campingplatz führen mehrere Rund- und Wanderwege vorbei, z. B. zur 5 km entfernten Glashütte in Wolfach. Des Weiteren stellen der Europa-Park in Rust oder Deutschlands höchste Wasserfälle in Triberg beliebte Ausflugsziele dar.
