"Nice, quiet campsite - The operators are always very nice and helpful. You feel at home here. The food in the restaurant, with its beautiful, large terrace, is delicious and at a good price.

"Familiar place with lots of peace and quiet - The pitches are mixed with permanent and tourist campers and are separated by hedges. There is no kaden, but there is a bread roll service. There are various stores in the village (Aldi, Rossmann etc.). It is 30 km to Holland (Winterswijk). The local swimming pool is next door. There are regular events on a stage in front of the restaurant. We liked it there: no frills, but everything was neat and tidy. Close to the highway, but very quiet. Lots of things to do (bird park, wildlife park).

"Absolute tranquility and great location for excursions - We visited the campsite for just under a week during the Easter vacations. It was pure relaxation for our family of 4. On a great pitch with more than enough space, we were able to enjoy absolute peace and quiet and set off on extensive cycling tours. We are only at the beginning of the season, so I assume that the hard-working people at the campsite will restore the one or other abandoned and no longer so beautiful pitch. Sufficient consideration has been given to guests like us. The head of the family that runs the campsite seems to be a kind-hearted person and it was always a pleasure to meet him. The personal organization of morning bread rolls was also a great service. The sanitary facilities certainly need some renovation, but were always clean. Unless a guest steps in dog excrement and then runs right through the men's shower... *without words*. But that's not the operators' fault. We definitely have the place on our watch list and will visit it again if we want to visit the region with its many offers and sights again for our bike tours. Last but not least, we have to mention the prices, which are really moderate.

"Recommended place - The campsite is mainly occupied by permanent campers. Everyone here is very, very nice. People still say hello here!!!! The friendly nature of the site management radiates to the campers. The sanitary facilities in the front area are no longer state of the art, but they are clean. There are already renovated toilet facilities at the back of the site. The showers will certainly be renovated in the near future. They were always clean (but this is often due to the campers). There is an outdoor/indoor swimming pool nearby. The surrounding countryside is ideal for long bike rides. Many places of interest in the immediate vicinity. We certainly felt very comfortable and will definitely be back.

"Morning pint on 09.06.2018 - We stayed at the Gross-Reken campsite last week. It was recommended to us. The highlight was an unexpected concert at the campsite. A singer provided entertainment in the morning with super great music. I've heard that this now happens more often during the summer vacations. For this reason alone, we are considering going there again. No entrance fee!!! It was great. Great atmosphere, great singers. Kudos to the organization. Great campsite, we wanted for nothing.

"An idyllic location with everything you need... - This site boasts an outstanding location in the Hohe Mark Westmünsterland Nature Park with links to countless leisure activities and proximity to excellent hiking trails. Surrounded by nature and beautiful countryside. Shopping facilities (discounter, bakery, etc.) nearby and within easy walking distance. The site itself is well-kept, sanitary facilities partly completely renovated and clean. There is also a restaurant on site, which offers drinks and some kiosk items as well as food.

Urlaub ganz nah, das ganze Jahr! Der großzügig gestaltete Campingpark liegt im Naturpark Hohe Mark - Westmünsterland. Das besondere Merkmal unseres Platzes sind die kreisförmig angelegten Parzellengruppen, ähnlich einer Wagenburg, mit einer gemeinsam nutzbaren Fläche im Mittelbereich. Der Platz liegt …neben den Freizeitanlagen und dem Frei- und Hallenbad der Gemeine Reken, welche den ersten Platz als fahrradfreundlichste Stadt ( unter 50.000 Einw.) gemacht hat. Der Campingplatz ist der ideale Startpunkt, um von hieraus die Freizeitparks in der Umgebung, mehrere Schlösser und das schöne Münsterland zu erkunden.
