"Vacation & slowing down? Yes, guaranteed here - Dear Nici, dear Heiko, dear Dimitri, A big thank you for the two wonderful weeks we were able to spend with you. We wanted for absolutely nothing. The pitch was great - sun & shade, just as we wanted it; friendly neighbors, fresh bread rolls in the morning, a cool hop spritzer or a bottle of wine in the evening, always super clean sanitary facilities (please give an extra appreciative greeting to the fairy godmother in the refuge). Will we be back? Most certainly! It was simply wonderful with you at the end of the world in Mecklenburg's jungle. Best regards from Katrin & Markus from Magdeburg

"Nice place, beautiful area, very friendly operators - We enjoyed our time very much, found plenty of peace and relaxation, fun on the water and by bike. The kiosk is well stocked, the sanitary facilities are super-clean, constantly cleaned and tidied - great. The pitch is clean and tidy. But the friendliness and helpfulness of the owner couple is second to none. When we had an electrical problem with the step of the motorhome, we would have been lost without you. "Beautiful campsite in the middle of nature - Beautifully clean sanitary and shower facilities. Nice entertainment once a week in the evening. Rather quiet and suitable for families with children as the site is quite small. We've already been there twice. The kiosk has everything you need if you forget something. Otherwise, there is a chip shop that is open from 12 noon, so self-catering is the order of the day. Or you can go by bike or car to the next village (2 km) or the next town (7 km) Wesenberg. Good excursion destinations in bad weather, especially in Neustrelitz. Between 12 and 15 o'clock is lunch break means the place may not be driven on. Nice playground and nice beach with shade.

"goes like this - In itself a well located place, but unfortunately sometimes very noisy due to children of the permanent campers and camping youth groups. The permanent campers apparently have their own rules, such as a smoking campfire, which was only extinguished when we were told that we would be totally fogged in. We don't have to come here again! We left early!

Profile

Drewensee is an ideal starting point for your tours by canoe or by motorboat. A link to the Havel opens up an extensive lake area, north and south. Our camping site has a large dock with berths for 60 boats …and a boat hire geared to 'water wanderers'. All the same it's very quiet here, because the lake can be used by motorboats only for arrivals and departures. Our comfortable reception building also has sanitary facilities that were evaluated as 'exceptional' by the General German Automobile Association according to their criteria for sanitary installations.

Follow the B 96 / E 251 to Neustrelitz, then turn left onto the B 198 towards Wesenberg. Just before Wesenberg turn left towards Ahrensberg. The site lies right on the shores of the Drewensee. Or, from Mirow, coming off …the B198 in the direction of Wesenberg/Neustrelitz. After passing Wesenberg, turn right towards Ahrensberg. This road leads through the woods straight to the camping site.
