"Everything OK! - As already mentioned above, a really good place, which in my opinion is undervalued here, which is why I am happy to give it 5 stars. We did an overnight stopover and found the conditions really good. Surprisingly, we didn't hear anything from the highway at night.

"A place of long distances - We stayed at this site at the beginning of May 2024 for an overnight stay. Price €25 with ACSI Card for caravan + 2 people. Friendly welcome, clean and spacious pitches with water and electricity connections. Sanitary facilities certainly overloaded when fully occupied. The central main building is within walking distance of the pitches.

"Beautifully laid out but disastrously managed - We stayed there for one night, which was enough for us. The online booking was very good and uncomplicated. You can reserve your preferred place and payment via Paypal was uncomplicated. When we got there, our first impression was actually very good. Lawn mowed, bushes trimmed, at first glance a small, well-kept site. The reception was not manned, but we were able to check in at a machine. All good so far. The surprise came when we looked at the sanitary facilities. Apparently the ventilation system was not working and the rooms were totally damp with mold and dirt in the corners. Spiders on the ceilings and careless attempts at cleaning with smeared tiles rounded off the overall picture. Totally disgusting with considerable potential for improvement !!! Later we wanted to go out for something to eat and tried our luck in the snack bar on the square. In the building, which reeked of cold cigarette smoke, we were greeted by two very friendly employees who didn't really look like restaurateurs. There is room for improvement here too, especially as the place was empty at the best of times. In the end, we ended up in the Italian restaurant, where we were served in a friendly manner and ate well. However, the laissez-faire overall impression of the place is also evident here. A real shame for such a well-located campsite and far too expensive at €33 per night.

"Rating Bella Augusta. First good overall impression. Then unfortunately disappointing. - It is not true that the campsite claims to be quiet. The highway provides a constant background noise. Guests can drive onto the site day and night, which is certainly great for night owls, but not for those looking for a good night's sleep. The campsite is enhanced by the adjacent lake, where you can swim and paddle. There is also a good beer garden and a large playground. The site is ok for a one-night stopover. But also too expensive overall due to the poor showers.

"Super nice - We received a very friendly welcome and immediately felt very comfortable. The campsite is very clean and well laid out. The sanitary facilities are clean and nice to look at. We are always happy to come back

Profile

Der Campingplatz "Bella Augusta" befindet sich in Augsburg direkt am Naherholungsgebiet Autobahnsee. Trotz der verkehrsgünstigen Lage überzeugt der Platz durch seine Ruhe und Idylle. Die Sanitäranlagen auf dem Gelände wurden 2006 neu renoviert und bieten besten Komfort. Ein Kiosk versorgt …die Gäste mit Kleinigkeiten für den täglichen Bedarf und bietet zudem Getränke, kleine Speisen und täglich frische Brötchen an. Ebenfalls auf dem Gelände befindet sich zudem ein Restaurant. Für die kleinen Gäste ist ein Kinderspielplatz mit großem Sandkasten, einem Klettergerüst und einer Rutsche eingerichtet. Ein Volleyballfeld ist ebenso vorhanden. Ein überdachter Grillplatz mit ausreichend Sitzgelegenheiten lädt zu einem geselligen Beisammensein ein. Durch den unmittelbar am Platz gelegenen Badesee kommen Wasserfreunde mit der Möglichkeit zu Schwimmen oder mit dem Paddelboot über den See zu fahren auf ihre Kosten. Als Ausflugsziel bietet sich die historische Stadt Augsburg mit zahlreichen kulturellen Angeboten an. Naturfreunde können die landschaftlich schöne Umgebung zu Fuß oder auf dem Fahrrad erkunden und die Seen und Schlösser der Region besichtigen. Der Campingplatz ist ganzjährig geöffnet und es sind sowohl Hunde als auch Katzen auf dem Gelände willkommen.
