"Quiet campsite on the edge of the forest - We were passing through and therefore only staying at the campsite for one night. Our pitch was level, had an electricity connection and was quite far away from the sanitary building. There was a water tap nearby. The site is laid out in terraces. The site is still under construction. The sanitary building has been modernized. The toilets are not separated from the showers. Coins, cards or similar are not required. A bread roll service is offered to the vehicle in the morning. The baked goods must be pre-ordered in the evening. The bread rolls were from the local bakery and were very tasty. The restaurant on site is small and clearly getting on in years. Our meals were very tasty and simple, but sufficient for us. We found the manager very friendly. The area around the campsite has unfortunately been badly affected by climate change and the associated forest dieback. The town of Braunlage can be reached on foot in about 25 minutes and offers some nice stores and restaurants.

"It was nice - It was a scvhöne week on the CP. The location is well suited for excursions, as you can reach your hiking starting points quickly thanks to the nearby main road. The road itself is not audible and it is a very quiet situation on the site. The small restaurant offers a very tasty schnitzel. The bread rolls at the pitch early before eight are sensational. We would love to come back again sometime!

"Great camping - Highly recommended! Campground is located on the outskirts of Braunlage. Very convenient location for trips and walks in the Harz. Camping site offers spacious stepping places for both mobile homes and caravans. Tents are also welcome. Owners are very hospitable. Bread roll service is included. Dogs are also allowed: there is even a dog shower! In short, fantastic camping!

"remote, too few toilets - We walked about 40 minutes to the spa park, the booking said 20 minutes, probably only the time to the town sign was meant... Pitches are uneven, motorhomes should have wheel chocks on board. Toilet cubicles are very small, good cleaning despite high occupancy. Unfortunately, there are not enough cabins available, so you have to queue during the morning rush hour... One cubicle is a children's toilet with a half-height door that cannot be locked - a waste of space, hardly any children will use this toilet... WLan was pretty good, bread rolls too, operator very friendly high additional costs in the form of visitor's tax and energy surcharge, we couldn't find a pedestrian zone in the town, car traffic everywhere... the food in the restaurant on the campsite was good, but unfortunately the portions were quite small in relation to the price..., in such an environment and after a long day in the fresh air we felt an appetite for a "proper" portion, sorry! The disappointment, also due to good reviews, was unfortunately greater for us than the joy, sorry again...!

Our campsite is nice located in the middle of the forest, directly at the border of National Park Harz and only 1 kilometer from the city Braunlage. The Harz has so much to offer and our campsite is very good …located. Every day you can discover something new in this beautiful National Park! Hiking, mountain biking and cross-country skiing. You can start directly from the campsite. In Braunlage is a Cable Car that takes you directly to the Wurmberg. The Wurmberg is with 971 meter the highest mountain in Lower Saxony. The parking place is only 3 kilometers away from our Campsite! In the wintertime you can go skiing, snowboarding and toboggan. In the summer you can enjoy the big bike park, go downhill with a mountain bike or Monster roller. Joy for everybody! Young and people who stayed young! Some days you don’t will be that active – No problem, visit one of the UNESCO World heritage cities or a museum in the region! All this isn’t far away from the campsite!
