"Very nice quiet place directly on the Necker! - We were there in September and it was still really busy but the place offered a lot of pitches for WOmo and caravans. Everything on lawns that were nicely maintained. The sani is getting on in years from the outside, but renovated from the inside and made very nice and practical. We will be back again.

"Relaxed place for a time-out - We were here for a "time-out weekend" for a short stay. Due to the short journey from us (approx. 80 km away), this site is definitely worthwhile for us for a short break. The site is right on the Neckar, we had a terrace with slabs, the pitch was big enough and the site didn't seem overcrowded despite being well occupied. The restaurant/bistro is really very good and definitely worth a visit if you want to keep the barbecue on the pitch cold. The site is conveniently located for cycling tours along the Neckar. We definitely have the site in mind for further "time-outs" :-)

"Camping cimbria - Since this year 20222 the campsite has a new owner. The sanitary facilities have been renewed and a lot has been renewed around the pool, crystal clear water.... just jump in!!! For children there is a nice playground and lots of play equipment! The Cp and associated Womostellplatz are very well maintained and spacious plots! The new owner and his staff are always friendly and competent.... help wherever they can!!! Rarely experienced such nice operators and employees! Enclosed the gastronomy is highly recommended!!!!!!! We always enjoy coming back and simply feel at home!!! And you can do a lot... Cycling, hiking, visiting Hornberg Castle etc.....

"Great campsite on the Neckar - We were right on the Neckar with our friends and felt very comfortable. You could buy bread and rolls from the local bakery around the corner. Great location, very quiet and clean, dog friendly....

"Beautifully maintained campsite - A really nice place with plenty of space, there is a large playground for children. There is a nice cycle path or jogging route directly behind the site. Very nice owners and delicious fries. All in all, great.

"Good place on the Neckar - Felt very comfortable. Friendly welcome. Plenty of peace and quiet, as we were probably among the last guests of the season. Well-kept lawn as a motorhome parking space. Electricity with CEE available.

Neckarzimmern, an dessen Ortsrand sich der Campingplatz Cimbria befindet, liegt zwischen Heidelberg und Heilbronn an der Burgenstraße. Der Ort, über welchen die Burg Hornberg, der einstige Wohnsitz des Ritters Götz von Berlichingen wacht, besitzt zahlreiche schöne Fachwerkhäuser sowie einen Wander- …und Weinlehrpfad. Bäcker, Supermarkt sowie eine Apotheke sind vom Campingplatz nur wenige Gehminute entfernt. Auf dem Platz stehen den Gästen neben einem modernen Sanitärgebäude eine Waschmaschine, ein Trockner sowie ein Geschirrspülbecken zur Verfügung. Darüber hinaus gehört zu diesem Campingplatz eine Gaststätte mit Biergarten und - aufgrund der Lage direkt am Wasser - eine eigene Slipanlage. Des Weiteren wartet das Areal mit einem Schwimmbecken, einem Spielplatz und einem Bolzplatz auf. Auch ein Basketballkorb und eine Tischtennisplatte sind vorhanden. Außerdem lädt nicht nur der Neckar zum Angeln und Bootfahren ein, 500 m entfernt befindet sich zudem eine Tennisanlage. Ebenso führen unmittelbar am Campingplatz der Neckartalradwanderweg sowie die offizielle Inlinerstrecke von Neckarzimmern vorbei.
