"Beautifully situated - The only disadvantage from our point of view are the few and very basic sanitary facilities. There tend to be a lot of dogs there. The large areas have fire pits in the middle, so it can sometimes get louder and later.

"Totally unfriendly and narrow-minded staff - When we asked her personally, at a distance of at least 5 meters, how much a night with the van and two people at the campsite would cost, we got the bland answer that it was all on the Internet. Then the lady simply walked on ignorantly...

"Camping in its original form - Here you will find a campsite just as it used to be. Peace and relaxation and a wonderful location by the lake. Reduced to the essentials, nothing for posh campers, but for individualists like us. We have been guests here for years and love coming back. Thanks to the operators and hopefully it will stay that way for a long time.

"Great nature camping - Despite bad reviews, we drove here. We parked our camper van right on the lake. Only meadow around us. Very idyllic! Toilets were always cleaned. Certainly no "I'm a particularly great luxury camper standard", but toilets and showers. Clean and ok. 5 star luxury campers will not be satisfied ;) For everyone else it is. The food in the restaurant is extremely tasty and very cheap. We spent 3 relaxing nights here and will be back.

"nice location, but... - The location of the campsite is really beautiful. Even the approach is great in an avenue. When you arrive, you are greeted in a very unfriendly manner and asked if you have a reservation... It's very off-putting when a young man literally shouts at you and almost insults you. The tenant is also very moody, sometimes you meet her in a friendly manner, sometimes the opposite. A real shame. Every time we had a question, we were almost afraid to ask. The sanitary facilities are really disgusting and are only cleaned once a day and that by a child (14 years old at most). As the sanitary facilities are outside the campsite, they can also be used by bathers. There should urgently be a sanitary facility inside the campsite for campers only. Our pitch with a group was in a very nice location and you could set up a kind of "wagon castle" around the fire pit. We liked that very much. Whether we will come again is questionable. The site definitely has potential.

"Too bad actually.... - Well, where should I start? I would write...the location of the place is great! That's it for the positive part. I looked at the comments beforehand and thought to myself that no campsite can be that bad. That's why we always like to see for ourselves. It's not far from us and, in the worst case, we could break off again and drive home. Sanitary facilities.....what a nightmare!!! Not only are there not enough of them... no, the state of the sanitary facilities is also inhumane! The check-in and check-out processes are also sub-standard. We have rarely experienced anything so chaotic. It seems to me that neither the association nor the tenants are capable of running a campsite. Completely overwhelmed and unfriendly to boot. What kind of combination? I also don't accept that it's the users who are responsible for the dirt. No, the way you make your bed is the way you sleep! Of course, a place like this also attracts the right clientele and everything else follows from that. What a pity, really...

Der Campingplatz Dennenloher See befindet sich im Ortsteil Dennenlohe der Gemeinde Unterschwaningen im Landkreis Ansbach. Direkt am Dennenloher See gelegen, bietet er auf 9.000 m² Fläche Stellplätze für ca. 60 Wohnwagen. An jedem Stellplatz ist ein Stromanschluss vorhanden. Hinzu kommen …großzügige Zeltmöglichkeiten direkt am See. Rund um den See können Wohnmobilbesitzer ihren Stellplatz finden. Das Sanitärgebäude bietet Wasch- und Duschräume sowie Außenspülen. Die Entsorgung von Chemietoiletten ist möglich. Der Platz besitzt einen Kiosk mit Aufenthaltsraum. Im Dachgeschoss können Gruppen das Matratzenlager nutzen. Die großflächige Zeltwiese erlaubt die Unterbringung auch größerer Schulklassen und Jugendgruppen. Der Dennenloher See mit seinen 20 ha Wasserfläche lässt jedem Besucher ausreichend Platz für die Ausübung seines Hobbys. Angelkarten für einen Tag oder eine Woche sind am Kiosk erhältlich. Der See bietet Bademöglichkeiten am Ost- und Westufer. Weitere Freizeitaktivitäten sind Bootfahren und Surfen sowie Wanderungen im angrenzenden Wald- und Heidegebiet.
