"Clean, solid, but incredibly cramped and crowded - The pitch itself is solid and clean. However, it was very crowded. The ladies at reception were very stressed and not very friendly. Campers stood close together. In the past, our pitch was divided into a pitch for a camper van + a tent pitch (105) and was also right next to a small exit. Due to the narrowness, everyone liked to walk across our pitch, which was used by everyone as a shortcut. We were also annoyed by the "bread roll situation". The baker comes to the pitch at 8.10 in the morning. You can only buy bread rolls from 8.10 am to around 8.30 am. The campers stand there tired and unwashed in a long queue waiting for their turn. We found the site ok, it's clean and solid, the location is good, but we probably won't be back due to the shortage of space.

"Great location at the Fichtelsee - We received a very friendly welcome. There was also some information material for the surrounding area. The sanitary facilities were very clean, except for the holidays. But that's not the fault of the campsite operators, it's the campers themselves. As already mentioned, height-adjustable shower heads would be an advantage, especially as the water pressure could not be regulated. The pitches were mowed within a very short time, after the pitch was cleared. So they were very well maintained.

"September 2 nights Fichtelsee pitch for a Touran - I would recommend this campsite to others. It is quiet, clean and beautifully situated. The prices are moderate. I would give it 4 stars, because there should be a possibility for those arriving at any time to get something warm to eat and perhaps also a cold large beer to quench their thirst. I will definitely be back.

"Summer '23 at Lake Fichtelsee again after 50 years - Beautifully situated, well-maintained site with a wide range of leisure activities in the immediate and immediate vicinity. For children, families, sports enthusiasts (cycling, skiing, hiking, stand-up paddling, history of the Fichtelgebirge), those interested in culture and (mobile) senior citizens. Animal lovers should be present. Shopping facilities in the village, not on site. Restaurant within walking distance, W-Lan expandable.

One thousand and one recreational possibilities are offered near the camping site Fichtelsee at the food of the Ochsenkopf, the second highest peak in Franconia, a mountain for activities. In this gorgeous low mountain range you can enjoy your holidays doubly - be activ and experience a breathtaking, unique landscape at the same time.
