"Lots of peace and quiet - Nice campsite with 2 meadow pitches, very quiet location, we were well received, even by the permanent campers you are warmly welcomed and get tips on where to find everything. The access to the lake is very narrow, but that doesn't matter because it wasn't very busy and you could always go into the water if you wanted to.

"Quiet, secluded place for nature lovers - The campsite is located directly on the Beetzsee, although you can only enter it at a narrow point. It is very quiet both during the day and at night. The extensive site is divided into a wooded area and two meadows with unparceled pitches for tourists. One of the two meadows is sloping, so it is advisable to have some support material with you. The site is ideally situated for cycling tours. The operators are very friendly and take good care of their guests. The sanitary facilities are clean. The showers, however, with their open design with shower curtains only, without any shelf and without a mixer tap, no longer meet today's standards. There are no facilities on site. In Päwesin there is a Buddhist bakery called "Backwahn" with excellent goods. There is a butcher in the opposite direction, but unfortunately you have to drive to Brandenburg for larger purchases and to refuel. If you want peace and quiet and love nature, this is the place for you.

"The icing on the cake at Beetzsee - It was our first time at this campsite and we were surprised. We have never found so much peace and relaxation. The place is ideal for frequent visits. The friendliness of the staff should be emphasized, from the receptionist at the reception desk to the boss of the whole thing to the help provided by "Kalle" in overcoming the initial difficulties in starting the boat's engine. Our visit was also warmly received. The price-performance ratio is reasonable and we will be happy to return. The only point of criticism is reduced to the "animal legacies" on the small beach on the jetty just behind the meadow, we don't understand the negative reviews here at all, but there is always the M.... We would love to come back, especially as it's not far from our home and we found the relaxation we were looking for here. Thank you to the whole team.

"Pure nature - Beautifully and idyllically situated campsite near (approx. 13km) Brandenburg an der Havel. Quiet location to relax and starting point for excursions to Potsdam, Berlin etc. Excellent water sports facilities (sailing, surfing, motorboat). For bathing / swimming - it is Havel water. The operator always helped me with problems. Unfortunately, since this year no more restaurant operation, hopefully next year again. Regarding other reviews on this site: It is a campsite in the middle of the forest, with adjoining fields, mostly corn. It is therefore understandable that open fires are prohibited if there is a forest fire warning. Unfortunately, not all campers follow this rule. The site is not particularly suitable for wheelchair users as there are no paved paths. I love the site as it is and enjoy coming here and can only recommend it.

"Location is very good owner very unfriendly and controlling!!! ATTENTION !!! - Location is very good. Owner very unfriendly and controlling!!! ATTENTION !!! Unfortunately, this is why more and more permanent campers are leaving this beautiful site. I speak from experience having been there for over 20 years. The owners are still surprised that there are fewer and fewer. Really a pity. Otherwise a beautiful campsite with nice little places and restaurants.

"incredibly rude hosts - The place is beautifully situated on a hill on the Beetzsee. However, the operators are very unfriendly and the owner arrogant and threatened me. Three times the police were on the site because other campers had a torch on. Ridiculous for the police, but the owner didn't think so. Unbelievable. On the day of departure, nobody could be reached by phone and the barrier was locked. Other guests left straight away. Otherwise many senior permanent campers, very sloping Womo meadow. Otherwise lots of forest and shade. Never again or only with operators who care about guests.

Der …See ist mit der Havel verbunden und eröffnet damit die Möglichkeit größerer Touren. Die Umgebung bietet verschiedene Sehenswürdigkeiten, wie die Stadt Brandenburg, das Naturschutzgebiet und das Domstiftsgut Mötzow mit seinem Nostalgiemuseum mit über 12.000 Exponaten aus der DDR-Geschichte. Für Kinder bietet der dortige Streichelzoo mit dem angrenzenden Spielplatz eine schöne Abwechslung. Potsdam und Berlin sind in erreichbarer Nähe.
