"Small, quiet, lots of nature, idyllic, friendly tenant - It is a small CP, on the Fohnsee really idyllic location, small relatively quiet street, the tenants are friendly and eager, washing and Tiolettenhaus about 200 meters away, next to the CP is a restaurant with a large terrace, in front of a large lawn for bathers, hiking and biking are well possible, in the morning to the bakery or Edeka about 1.5 kilometers, -reachable by bike in a few minutes.

"Bavarian Hessian Connection Fohnsee - Anytime again...we a group of more than ten people had a wonderful week... Grade 1 goes to the operators... very very friendly and we are already looking forward to next year... You rarely find a campsite like this...

"This is not a campsite, but more of an "expensive scout camp" - The "Fohnsee campsite" was a joke. It's not a campsite, but more of an "expensive scout camp". Definitely not recommended by today's standards. Reason: 1. to get to the toilets or sanitary facilities, you have to walk about 200 m along a public road, then across a public parking lot to a wooden hut in the forest. Very uncomfortable at night for women. The toilets have no paper towels or other hand dryers. You get a key (deposit 25,- in case of loss 50,-Euro). The toilets are not cleaned, but are partially flooded in the morning. The standard of the facilities is not up to standard. 2. to wash dishes you need a 20 cent piece to get warm water through a garden hose. 3. you also have to pay a high advance payment, otherwise you won't get a pitch. If unforeseen circumstances prevent you from traveling, the deposit is gone. In our time the pitch was almost empty. 4. there is no wifi. The installation (reception) of satellite systems is also only partially possible. 5. excessive costs were charged for this "service". You had to park your car outside the campsite and had to pay for it. You get a total bill not just a receipt. 6. we can only advise against this "campsite". We will never come back!

"What a noise... - Were there for a weekend with our T5 in summer 2018, no peace and quiet to be thought of, inconsiderate campers, this is not how you imagine a weekend of relaxation, as nobody cares whether it is quiet or not. Since the way to the toilets is quite far, the children are not even sent there, but do their business on the neighboring pitches. If that doesn't bother you, go to ....

"Oll and not so great - Were there for a weekend camping and unfortunately found no peace, in summer apparently overcrowded, permanent car traffic to the nearby restaurant. Campers sometimes ruthlessly loud and nobody cares. If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is not the place!!!

"Nature camping in its purest form - Small campsite in the middle of the forest. This really is nature camping. If you can manage to get a few more meters to the sanitary building, it is simple but also adapted to nature. With a mover under the caravan, you can get to any pitch without any problems. We felt comfortable for 2 nights. And I don't think 25 euros per night including electricity is too expensive.

Profile

Im Naturschutzgebiet der Osterseen im Ortsbereich Iffeldorf befindet sich der Campingplatz Fohnsee. Der naturnahe Campingplatz liegt direkt am See und einem sich anschließenden Wald. Unter Bäumen haben 40 Stellplätze auf dem kleinen Gelände Platz. Die Sanitäranlagen sind mit Duschen, Waschräumen …und WC-Anlagen ausgestattet und verfügen zudem über eine Waschmaschine und einen Trockner. Direkt neben dem Campingplatz liegt das Restaurant "Fohnseestüberl" und bietet eine Vielzahl an Speisen und Getränken an. Ein Badeplatz am See befindet sich direkt am Campinggelände. Nur 10 Minuten Fußweg vom Platz entfernt liegt der Ort Iffeldorf. Dort ist mit einem Lebensmittelgeschäft, der Post, einer Bank, einem Arzt und weiteren Restaurants alles Wichtige schnell zu erreichen. Durch die optimale Lage lassen sich zudem abwechslungsreiche Ausflüge in die nähere Umgebung gestalten. Orte wie der Starnberger See, Freilichtmuseum Glentleiten, Buchheim Museum in Bernried, Wellenbad Penzberg oder das Trimini-Erlebnisbad in Kochel sind jederzeit einen Besuch wert. Darüber hinaus lädt die idyllische Natur zu ausgedehnten Wanderungen und Radtouren ein.
