"Appealing - The campsite is somewhat hidden and can be reached via narrow roads in a beautiful valley. The sanitary facilities are a little trip back in time. The pitches are large. The restaurant served delicious food and cold draught beer. Ideal for a stopover

"Beautiful location, but unfortunately very unkempt - Idyllic and quiet location, somewhat difficult to reach with larger motorhomes due to single-lane access. Unfortunately, the site is very unkempt, toilets are at least 50 years old and not clean, and there is sometimes no paper... It's a shame that the operator doesn't make more of an effort. There are wrecks of old caravans everywhere. Disposal of toilet cassettes catastrophic! The only ray of hope: renovated men's showers (washing costs 50 ct for 4 min.). Restaurant ok with schnitzel dishes at reasonable prices. Overall, the place is not recommendable, sorry.

"None and fine - Small, friendly campsite in an absolutely quiet location. Operator very friendly and courteous. Free choice of pitches, good value for money, good restaurant on site, flexible bread roll service without any problems. Sanitary building always clean.

"Quite a bit outdated - The place is quite outdated. Cleanliness partly-partly (chemical toilet disposal very dirty!). We had no cell phone reception...quiet is great!

Herzlich Willkommen auf dem Campingplatz Fulda-Freizeitzentrum Knickhagen. Der Campingplatz liegt mitten in der Natur Nordhessens, umgeben vom Mystischen Reinhardswald, in dem die Gebrüder Grimm Ihre Geschichten schrieben. Durch die Naturnahe Lage ist unser Campingplatz bestens für Wanderer, Hundebesitzer und Fahrradfahrer …bestens geeignet. Durch die Nähe zur Fulda (ca. 1km) kommen bei uns auch die Angler nicht zu kurz, macht ein paar Würfe an der Fulda oder nutzt unseren Forellenteich. Für Radfahrer gibt es auch genügend zu Erkunden, ob entspannt an der Fulda entlang Richtung Hannoversch Münden (11km) oder nach Kassel (15km) oder mit dem Mountainbike durch unsere Wälder, dies bleibt Ihnen überlassen. Unser Campingplatz ist Barrierefrei, an der Gaststätte gibt es neugebaute Sanitäranlagen, speziell auf die Bedürfnisse eines Rollstuhls eingerichtet. Desweitern, gibt es eine Gaststätte auf dem Campingplatz, in der Sie von Dienstag bis Sonntag speisen können, Montags ist Ruhetag. Wir freuen uns Sie bei uns als Gast begrüßen zu dürfen.
