"beautiful place directly on the Rhine - A nice place directly on the Rhine with access via 2 gates, we had a fairly large place and everything is with grass. We were only there for one night and can't say much about the cleanliness, it was fine for us and we will definitely come again, a small drawback is the rather high step to the Pazelle, but there are always the friendly campers.

"Square close to the Rhine - Nice place in direct proximity to the Rhine. Through two gates (secured) you can get directly to the Rhine with a cycle path to Remagen (1.5 km approx.). Remagen invites you to stroll and eat ice cream. There is a small restaurant on the site with Italian and German cuisine at reasonable prices (and it was delicious too). Bread roll service available (but we didn't use it), very clean sanitary facilities. Sufficient pitches, sometimes long distances to the electricity connection. Some dog owners are annoying (they left piles directly in front of our motorhome), but it's not the operator's fault. Lidl about 1.5 km away.

"Nice place with lots of room for improvement. - We spent 5 nights at the Goldene Meile campsite in Remagen. The staff at reception were very friendly. The site is located directly on the Rhine and the Rhine cycle path. Ideal for cycling tours to Remagen, Linz, Ahrweiler etc. There was no WLAN at all. Mobile internet (Vodafone and O2) miserable. The sanitary facilities unfortunately left a lot to be desired in terms of cleanliness. It would be nice if they were cleaned more often. There is a small kiosk where you can buy drinks and order bread rolls for the next day. We didn't try the Italian restaurant on site. However, our neighbors were delighted.

Der …Campingplatz Goldene Meile liegt unmittelbar am romantischen Mittelrhein zwischen Bonn und Koblenz mit Blick auf die Rheinhänge ( Berg: Erpeler Ley ) und die Brücke von Remagen. Der Platz wird durch ebenes Wiesengelände charakterisiert. Bäume, Hecken und Büsche sowie ein Teich gestalten den Platz parkähnlich. Touristische Sehenswürdigkeiten/ Ausflugstipps in der Umgebung: Direkt am Rhein gelegen, führt am Campingplatz der Rheinradwanderweg vorbei, so dass der Platz ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für Radtouren an Rhein und Ahr ist. Bester Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen in Eifel, Westerwald und Erkundigung des Rheinsteigs oder Schiffsausflüge auf Rhein und Mosel. In der näheren Umgebung finden zahlreiche Winzerfeste statt.
