"1 night in a tent - We received a very friendly welcome at the campsite and were helped with all our requests. We had our own pitch for our tent and the sanitary facilities were very clean. We would recommend the site to others

"Small but nice - The site is quite small, beautifully situated and quiet. Most of the pitches are used by permanent campers, who were very friendly. There are nice excursion destinations (especially for children) in the surrounding area. For example, fossil quarries, the Altmühl thermal baths and summer toboggan runs.

"A little pearl - A nice little place, very quiet. No mobile phone reception with Telekom, Vodafon or o2. I like that. Absolute peace and quiet from disturbing phone calls. A super warm welcome. When the owner heard that we had a caravan, we had a beer to toast the new caravan. SUPER. I had never experienced that before in my life as a camper. You can get WiFi for 1 euro a day and it's really fast. I was even able to stream SKY. The sanitary facilities are always clean. The ones on the pitch are a bit older and when they are being cleaned here, you can go down to the tent meadow, where the sanitary facilities are new. You can order bread rolls on site. The choice of pitch is uncomplicated. Some with sun and some with shade. As you like. We even have water and waste water on site. Unfortunately, you can't award 6* for friendliness. Therefore, this 3-star campsite gets a full 4 stars from me.

Landurlaub in wunderschöner, ruhiger und leicht hügeliger Lage zwischen Hechlingen am See und Hahnenkammsee (250m) im Fränkischen Hahnenkamm. Es erwarten Sie gepflegte, parzellierte und ausreichend groß bemessene Rasenplätze. Diese sind von Hecken umsäumt und bieten je nach Stellplatz Sonne bis …Schatten. Ein sauberes, beheiztes und zweckmäßiges Sanitärgebäude steht hier zu Ihrer Verfügung. Zusätzlich gibt es noch Wiesenflächen mit Terrassen für Gruppen und Vereine mit Zelten. Hier ist Lagerfeuer erlaubt. Eine weitere Sanitäranlage rundet das Angebot ab. Wanderer, Wallfahrer und Radfahrer können ein gutes, umfangreiches Wegenetz für Ihre Aktivitäten nutzen. Kartenmaterial ist im Büro erhältlich. Der Hahnenkammsee mit Badebucht , Kiosk, Tretbootverleih und Strand (für kleine Kinder gut ausgebaut) ist in circa 8 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Ideal ist es mit Hunden, da es keine weiten Wege gibt, um in der näheren Umgebung "Gassi" zu gehen. Begegnung, Bildung, Spiritualität und Ökumene finden Sie im Kloster Heidenheim. Zahlreiche kleine und große Städtchen gibt es im nahegelegenen Ferienland Donau-Ries, dem Naturpark Altmühltal, sowie dem Fränkischen Seenland zu entdecken. Ebenso lockt die Romantische Straße mit ihren Burgen und Schlössern. Fränkische und bodenständige Küche können Sie in den Landgasthäusern kosten.
