"Never again! - The site is located on two sides of roads and is affected by traffic noise, at least during the day. The sanitary facilities are completely outdated. The washing-up area is desolate. Hot water for flushing has to be fetched from the toilet with a bucket. Overall, the site gives the impression that nothing has been invested in for a long time.

"not a second time - The campsite is located directly on a main road that motorcyclists like to use to turn up, so nothing is quiet. What is otherwise described as quiet on the campsite is the emptiness, apart from a handful of permanent campers, the campsite is empty. These do not have to adhere to the rest periods and driving bans during the lunch break. The campsite can be described as desolate, lonely, boring and unsuitable for families. There is no playground, no pool, no shopping facilities and no restaurant at the campsite. Everything is at least half a kilometer away. The sanitary facilities are partially defective and the washing-up area is an imposition. The pitches are huge, but parking your car costs a further €6.

"With "extended family" at the campsite - On the occasion of a wedding celebration in the nearby fruit cellar, the Heiter family's campsite was perfect for two nights with the extended family (14 people). We had booked all five cottages with breakfast. The whole family was very happy with the facilities. The generous breakfast in particular was excellent! We lacked for nothing. Mrs. Heiter was helpful in every way and very, very friendly!

"beautiful campsite on the outskirts of Mönchberg - I spent 1 night in my bus at the Heiter campsite after a wedding party. So it was rather functional. However, I can recommend the campsite to anyone looking for a relaxing time, with excursions into the countryside and to the very beautiful places in the surrounding area. Many thanks to Mrs. Heiter!

"Super friendly campsite and beautiful area - We were in Mönchberg for the first time and are now very enthusiastic! The actual reason was a wedding in the "Alter Obstkeller". And as the campsite was just 100m away, it was clear that we would go there. We agreed with Mrs. Heiter (campsite owner) by e-mail that it could be a little later (after 8pm). But no problem, even at 20:30 Mrs. Heiter was still there waiting for us. We were greeted in a very friendly manner even though it was already so late! Really great service! She briefly explained where everything was and what was available and we were able to start camping :-) The next morning we saw how beautiful the site actually is (see pictures). Lots of attention to detail, no matter where you are on the site. The washrooms are 1A. They may look old at first glance, but that doesn't change the fact that modern showers, toilets and washbasins are installed. And best of all, everything is tip-top clean. Great respect! The village is also a lovely spot, and the residents are all friendly and helpful. There is a playground at the nearby outdoor pool. So everything you need is also available in summer. The "Main" is about 7km away. We will be back and are already looking forward to it. Many THANKS again to the Heiter family for the short but nice stay

Liebe Campingliebhaber, Wanderer und Fahrradfreunde, ihr findet unseren idyllischen Campingplatz im Luftkurort Mönchberg im Spessart, verkehrsgünstig gelegen zwischen Frankfurt am Main und Würzburg (jeweils ca. 50 Autominuten). Die Lage unseres Campingplatzes ermöglicht es, alle Geschäfte, Gasthöfe und Freizeiteinrichtungen in Mönchberg …(Schwimmbad, Spielplätze, Minigolf, Wassertretanlage) und Attraktionen (Kirche aus dem Jahr 1749, Baumhäuser, Wendelinuskapelle, barrierefreier Waldweg) in kürzester Zeit zu Fuß zu erreichen. Auch der Wald mit vielen markierten Wanderwegen und ein Radweg in Richtung Miltenberg befinden sich in unmittelbarer Nähe. Kommen Sie vorbei, wir freuen uns auf Ihren Besuch!
