"For emergencies - The almost treeless tent meadow was very well maintained, clean and level. It is quite far away from the sanitary building.

"Simple but personal, ideal for a short vacation - CP is simple but very personal. The staff is very nice and helpful, the location on the Rhine is very good. There are no shopping facilities directly on site, but it's just a 5-minute walk into town. There are several stores there. Bread rolls are available at the campsite on Sundays. The ground is very absorbent, so there are no wet feet in the awning even when it rains.

"Good location, fine for a short vacation. - We were there at Easter, the pitches are large enough. The place is still being expanded a bit, maybe he gets a 2 wash house because the distance is otherwise very far. Sanitary facilities older but clean. Price performance is ok, considering how close it is to Switzerland. Shopping possible on foot.

"Nice campsite on the Rhine - The campsite mainly has permanent campers, with tourist pitches in the front area by the Rhine. The sanitary facilities are somewhat older and in a condition commensurate with their age, but not dirty. The owner is very nice, always does his rounds on the site and looks after things. Nice pool! There is a restaurant on the site, but we didn't eat here and can't say anything about the quality. There is free WiFi in the restaurant/pool area, which is also available in some areas of the campsite. German mobile network is very poor (no LTE). Very reasonable prices.

"NEVER AGAIN!!!!! NOT RECOMMENDED - This campsite should never be called a campsite! Families with children are not welcome! The senior is extremely unfriendly and prejudiced! Children are shouted at if they are a little louder, which is normal for children aged 3. You only get shower tokens if the senior is in a good mood and has eaten. My son didn't get any shower tokens because the senior "didn't feel like it now", so he had to take a cold shower. Sanitary facilities are cleaned about once a week! This place will never see me again! I advise everyone against this place!!!!

"Great place - The place is beautiful and quiet. Right next to the Rhine. Large pitches. Unfortunately the restaurant is closed during the season.

Profile

Der Campingplatz Hochrhein liegt im Südschwarzwald, genauer in Küssaberg. Die Lage direkt am Rhein und die Nähe zur Schweiz als auch zum Bodensee ermöglichen eine Vielzahl an Freizeitmöglichkeiten in der Umgebung. Direkt auf dem Campinggelände befindet sich ein Fahrradverleih und …es gibt darüber hinaus die Möglichkeit des Kanufahrens und Angelns. Der Platz selbst verfügt über teilweise unter Bäumen liegende Parzellen direkt am Rhein und eine Kanu- und Zeltwiese mit offener Feuerstelle für Wanderer, Radfahrer und Jugendliche. Ein Restaurant versorgt die Gäste in einer gemütlichen Gaststube mit gutbürgerlicher Küche. Ein Außenschwimmbecken befindet sich ebenso auf dem Gelände wie ein Kinderspielplatz. Des Weiteren stehen die Möglichkeiten des Tischtennis und Tischfußball bereit. Die beheizten Sanitäranlagen beinhalten neben einem behindertengerechten WC auch eine solche Dusche sowie eine Waschmaschine und einen Wäschetrockner. Die Warmwasseraufbereitung erfolgt mit einer modernen Solaranlage. Auf Bestellung werden die Gäste mit Frühstücksbrötchen versorgt. Weitere Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, eine Apotheke und eine Bank sind in lediglich 5 Minuten Entfernung zu finden.
