"Rest and relaxation - Good place for dog owners, you can go for long walks with your dog on the dyke. The nearby lake or the Weser invite your dog to swim. The only thing missing is a dog shower, but the dog only costs 2 euros per day

"Good location for exploring Bremen - We spent 2 nights at the campsite. The location is very nice, the place is rather small and familiar. The owner couple are exceptionally friendly and extremely helpful (we noticed this with our neighbor who had problems with the gas) There is a small, well-stocked store with a small library. At the ferry dock, a few meters on foot, there is a nice restaurant with a great view over the Weser. The only thing we didn't like was the division into showers and wash house/toilet. You walk back and forth ;-) However, everything is very clean, so you can easily stay for longer.

"Campsite for watching ships - A small, lovingly maintained campsite. The site is partly under trees and mostly meadow. And you stand between the permanent campers, who usually arrive on Fridays. If the pitch is right on the dyke, there is a great urge to look at every large ship on the Weser. We, who don't know anything like that, have already walked to the beach 3-4 times to marvel. The sanitary facilities are clean, the showers are clean. There is a small store with the essentials for survival and a large selection of bread rolls.

"Very nice campsite - So, we've now spent seven nights at the Juliusplate campsite in Berne. The location is absolutely superb. Right behind the dyke to the Weser. There's a great sandy beach where you can go for a swim, it really has that North Sea feeling. There is always something different. Car ferry across the B74, shipping traffic that you wouldn't expect there and the feeling of high and low tide. The unisex shower house right next to reception takes some getting used to. There are 8 shower cubicles, but they are sufficient. 5 minute showers with a coin, those who want to save money shower with a partner. There are two more toilets and wash houses. You always have to go two ways, shower and then into the wash house. After two days you get used to it. The cleanliness is exemplary. The price-performance ratio is excellent. 24.50 euros a night plus 1 euro for showers plus electricity according to consumption.1 kw 0.75 euros. There is a small store for daily needs at very reasonable prices. What I can confirm, the skin of the bratwurst is too hard!

"Cozy place in a good location - the site has a great location with a short walk to the lake. good sanitary facilities lots of shade and the proximity to Bregenz characterize the place. We stayed in July 2022 and really enjoyed it.

"Great place directly on the Weser - Sanitary facilities are available in sufficient numbers and are clean. Drinking water taps distributed all over the site with slightly too little pressure. The location with the adjacent Weser beach and the ferry connection is really great.

Der Campingplatz „Juliusplate“ liegt geschützt durch einen Sommerdeich direkt an der Weser auf einem ebenen Wiesengelände mit gutem, teilweise altem Baumbestand. Am weitläufigen Sandstrand kann man den gesamten Überseeschiffsverkehr von und nach Bremen „hautnah“ an sich vorüberziehen lassen. Für Bootfahrer, …die in ihren Ferien die Weser mit ihren naturbelassenen Seitenarmen von der Wasserseite aus erkunden wollen, steht die platzeigene Bootsrampe kostenlos zur Verfügung. Der Campingplatz „Juliusplate“ ist ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für Exkursionen in die gesamte Wesermarsch, sowie in die Städte Brake, Oldenburg, Bremerhaven und Bremen. Naturliebhaber kommen bei Erkundungen zu Fuß, per Rad oder per Kanu in der Umgebung Bernes auf ihre Kosten. Bei Ihren Planungen stehen wir Ihnen gerne mit Vorschlägen und Arrangements für Ihre Tagestouren hilfreich zur Seite. Auf unsere „kleinen“ Gäste wartet ein Spielplatz und das „Abenteuer“ Sandstrand. Ein idyllisch gelegener See bietet bei schönem Wetter einen naturnahen Badespaß. Der platzeigene Lebensmittelladen sorgt neben den morgendlichen frischen Brötchen für das Nötigste zum Betreiben Ihrer Campingküche. Zahlreiche Restaurants bzw.
