"Perfect for everyone - The campsite is located at the end of a valley. It is very quiet and you can go on many hikes on site, even with a dog. The tenant couple are very friendly and open to dogs. The rental caravan, like the whole site, was clean and there was nothing to complain about. The campsite has a large children's playground, a pool and a fire pit, so that families with children can also have fun here. There is also a restaurant with delicious food and drinks.

"In the middle of nature. - The campsite is beautifully situated between two hills. You can see trees everywhere and hear the water from the stream. Depending on the side, there is shade or sun on the tent all day long. Great depending on the season. The sanitary facilities are getting on in years, but clean and adequate. There is even decent toilet paper (this is not a matter of course, as sandpaper is often offered). Unfortunately, there is only one double sink for dishes, which sometimes requires longer waiting times if several people come at the same time. The snack bar has everything you need. The site is in a great location and is also reasonably priced. Highly recommended.

"Nice operators, but unkempt - The site is beautifully situated and well suited for families with children. The operators are very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the place looked very unkempt, the ladies' shower was completely moldy, and it smelled accordingly. I would not stay there again.

"Small campsite with great operators - We stayed at the campsite in Lonau for 1 week and can only recommend it. The caravan was very clean and spacious. The food, whether it was breakfast, lunch or dinner, was always very good - plentiful and very reasonably priced. The operators of the campsite try everything to make you feel comfortable. Hiking is very worthwhile there. We will definitely be back next year. The location of the campsite is unique. You have to see it.

"Incredibly bad - After more than 20 years of camping Never experienced Well in advance booked.two weeks before arrival again called according to appointment. Everything was arranged.When I arrived there they had made a mistake. What kind of mistake? It is an oblong campsite with a swimming pool in front and a parking lot in front. We were allowed to stand behind the cars on the gravel. After I indicated that I did not want that, he nonchalantly shrugged his shoulders. Just walked around the campground old junk .unbelievable that the reviews are so good . Fortunately there are many camping sites in the hartz that are good. In short NOT recommended.

"Campsite with forest swimming pool - It is a small campsite with a great forest swimming pool, built in the 1930s. It is idyllically situated behind Lonau and the road ends in the forest. The owners are unique and lovely, the landlady is the world's best cook. The place is ideal for children. Of course, if you don't appreciate the little important things in life, you've come to the wrong place.

Der Familienfreundliche Campingplatz liegt sehr ruhig im Nationalpark-Harz. Von hier aus kann man sehr schöne Wanderungen zu Fuß oder mit dem Fahrrad unternehmen. Mit dem Auto, nur wenige kilometer vom Campingplatz entfernt, kann man die schönsten Städte des Harzes mit …ihren Sehenswürdigkeiten und Freizeitangeboten erreichen. Bei uns ist der Gast noch König, denn es ist nur ein kleiner Campingplatz und wir können auf Ihre Wünsche und Anliegen eingehen. Für Biker haben wir einen separaten Platz. Über Ihren Besuch würden wir uns freuen.
