"E.T. - By and large a friendly campsite. You receive a friendly welcome and are accompanied to your pitch. The operators always have a friendly word to say. Unfortunately, the first row by the river is reserved for permanent campers and a few motorhome pitches. Shopping facilities 5 minutes walk away in the supermarket, with bakery. The showers should be modernized, the cabins with simple shower curtains are too small and have no shelves. 60s standard. But quite clean, as are all the sanitary facilities. In the village in about 2km we could eat well, there are some restaurants. The pitches are large and unparceled. Sufficient water taps.

"Recommended campsite directly on the Main! - This was our second time here and we will definitely be back. This campsite has everything you need for a great vacation. The price-performance ratio is very good!

"Beautiful place on the Main - Nice place with super friendly operators. Place makes a well-kept impression. Sanitary facilities older but super clean.

"Finally beautiful again!!!! - The site is spacious and quiet. The wash houses are probably older, but are lovingly cleaned every day. Everything around it looks very inviting again.

"Under new management since 2017 - 5 days over Easter, very friendly and attentive operators, clean sanitary facilities, beautiful pitch, quiet, best starting point for cycling and hiking tours and culinary delights in the bakeries of the surrounding communities. We will be back. The new operator is actively working on clearing up the renovation backlog from previous reviews.

In Klingenberg/Röllfeld grenzt die Campinganlage Mainwiese unmittelbar an den Fluss. Der Platz ist nicht umzäunt und besteht aus 160 Dauer- und 90 Touristenstellplätzen, deren Größe zwischen 80 und 100 Quadratmetern beträgt. Die meisten Stellplätze verfügen über direkten Strom- und Wasseranschluss. …Neben Plätzen für Wohnmobile und Wohnwagen gibt es auch eine großflächige Zeltwiese. Wohnwagen können außerdem angemietet werden. Eine Ver- und Entsorgungsstation für Wohnmobile ist vorhanden. Zu den Sanitäreinrichtungen gehört ein Wickeltisch, des Weiteren finden Gäste Waschmaschine und Trockner sowie Spülbecken vor. Der Campingplatz hat eine Gaststätte und ein Kiosk, in dem eine Auswahl an Lebensmitteln und Getränken sowie frische Brötchen verkauft werden. Größere Einkäufe können Camper in 300 Meter Entfernung tätigen. Durch die Nähe zum Wasser bieten sich in der Freizeit Aktivitäten wie Angeln, Baden oder Boot fahren an. Ein Bootsslip ermöglicht den unkomplizierten Zugang zum Wasser. Parallel zum Platz verläuft eine Wasserskibahn. Wer Wasserski fahren oder Wakeboarden lernen möchte, kann dies vor Ort in einer Schule.
