"A warm welcome at the campsite - When we phoned to ask for a pitch for the following night, we were very kindly invited to drop by. Despite the exceptional coronavirus situation, the owner personally took us to our camper van pitch and showed us around. The sanitary facilities were simple but clean. We found all the staff on the site and in the restaurant to be friendly and attentive. We had a good meal at a very reasonable price. The site itself was quiet and the pitch was large enough. The price-performance ratio in a family business was right.

"Very nice little place - We were warmly welcomed even without prior registration. Even though the site is dominated by permanent campers, you immediately feel welcome as a guest passing through. The site and sanitary facilities were clean and tidy. The restaurant offers good food at reasonable prices. A very good base for cyclists to explore the surrounding area.

Seit 60 Jahren erfreut der Campingplatz Peters nun schon jung und alt. Kanusportler aus Dortmund waren 1927 die ersten Gäste und legten regelmäßig am Kanal von Dortmund nach Lüdinghausen an, um ihre Zelte auf den Wiesen bei Bauer Frenking aufzubauen. …Damals gab es eine Pfanne Bratkartoffeln mit zwei Spiegeleiern für 50 Pfennig. Heute kommen Sie auf einen 3 Sterne Campingplatz, ausgestattet mit allen erdenklichen Annehmlichkeiten, der ganzjährig nutzbar ist. Sie finden hier auf einer Gesamtgröße von 17.000 m² insgesamt 90 Dauerstellplätze, 10 Reisemobilstellplätze, 5 Zeltplätze und Ferienhäuser in einer wunderschönen Umgebung.
