"Great place! Beautiful lawn. Playground could still be improved. - It was our first time on the site and we will definitely be back. We would have liked to have a seasonal pitch.

"Campsite on a beautiful Baltic Sea beach - the parking spaces are too small to keep 1.50 m to the border or 3 m to the neighbor, improvements would have to be made here Friendliness at reception and in the store, nice ladies great view from the cliffs and possibly enjoy the sunset Cycling to Hohe Wacht, Lütjenburg and Oldenburg all within easy reach. large playground On the beach there is "Ankeracht" possibility to eat small snacks such as tapas or enjoy a glass of Aperol in a cozy beach chair so we would love to come back for a few nights

"Ballermann of the Baltic Sea - No trace of relaxation, as we were annoyed almost daily by some inconsiderateness and impertinence. Once and never again!!!

"Relaxing weekend - As I mentioned in my advantages, the Platen campsite can be rated good to very good overall. I particularly noticed the very friendly staff and the cleanliness of the site, including the sanitary facilities. The campsite definitely deserves the 5 stars from the ADAC. We would love to come back and can highly recommend this campsite. Ute and Wolfgang

"Only highly recommended for camping - SANITARY The sanitary buildings are not luxurious, but absolutely clean and in good condition. Showers cost 1€, duration: 8 min, eff. ~6:30 min >>> RESTRICTIONS There is only one possibility to wash dishes per wash house. Wash houses are cleaned at 8 a.m. and 9 a.m., so they tend to be cleaned at peak times. TENT SITE Beach: (-) The campsite near the beach should be urgently straightened in the future, (-) and get a water connection, (-) WC quite far away, (-) paths unlit (-) A lot of party noise from the beach, partly also on the pitch. Quiet times are controlled very selectively (+) great view of the Baltic Sea (+) Electricity available (on one meadow, there is also one without electricity) (-) Only 2 wooden tables for the whole meadow PERSONNEL/Service Generally helpful and eager to help. However, the problem-solving strategies seem to be more in the direction of permanent campers and families. CONCLUSION Me and my family will avoid the site for the next time and pitch our tent somewhere else, as it was no longer a vacation for us due to many (avoidable) little things. Unfortunately, asking the site management didn't solve anything either. Maximum party noise from morning until late at night did the rest.
