"Nice short vacation - Despite our late arrival, we received a friendly welcome (by telephone) and were greeted with extra service as we had a technical problem with our vehicle. And that is really not a matter of course. Many thanks again for that! We will definitely be back!!! Robert and Ines

"To loud.... - At home I booked pitch M5 with an ACSI discount. On arrival the pitch was run down. About 15m long and very narrow. The very friendly lady at reception let us change to pitch M4. There was a flowering clover meadow with a terrace. Three times I asked for a gardener to mow because we were surrounded by bees. On the 3rd day they mowed without a grass catcher. Many of the pitches had tires from the 80s. We were afraid that the tires would be destroyed. During the whole time I never saw a worker who renovated the campsite to today's standards.

"Overcrowded campsite with too few ancient sanitary facilities - The site was totally overcrowded on the Corpus Christi weekend. The sanitary facilities are not designed for this and are also partially defective. There were no bread rolls in the morning. The table tennis room was constantly closed. The mini golf course is partly broken. The outdoor pool was the highlight.

"Short vacation in Gemünden - Beautiful, quiet campsite in a prime location right next to the village. On a small island surrounded by woods. Unfortunately, all the beautiful pitches directly on the banks of the Saale are rented out to permanent campers. The tourist pitches are on a flat meadow, you have plenty of space! Beautifully situated for excursions by bike or on foot. Unfortunately, there are no shops or catering facilities on the site itself. But there are numerous options in the immediate vicinity. The wash house needs a refurbishment when the opportunity arises. Nothing else to complain about, we had a great time here!

Camping im Staatliche anerkannten Erholungsort Gemünden am Main, das …ist Erholung auf einer herrlichen 5 ha großen altstadtnah gelegenen Anlage mit - je nach Wunsch - schattenspendenden Bäumen oder Sonne pur - inmitten einer Halbinsel, umgeben von zwei Armen der Fränkischen Saale. Diese Lage gewährleistet Naturgenuss abseits von Hektik und Großstadtlärm. Unser Campingplatz Saale-Insel ist ausgestattet mit 120 Tourismus-Stellplätzen von 80 bis 120qm und 160 Stellplätzen für Dauercamper. Moderne Sanitäreinrichtungen mit fließend Warm- und Kaltwasser sowie ausreichend Waschbecken (kalt/warm), Einzelwaschkabinen, Babywickelplatz und Warm- und Kaltwasserduschen machen Ihnen den Aufenthalt angenehm. Für unsere Campinggäste ist die Nutzung des direkt an den Campingplatz angrenzenden beheizten Freibad kostenfrei. Allgemeine Informationen: Saison von 1. April bis 15.
