"super campsite on the Warnow - We are repeat offenders and have been visiting this beautiful natural campsite in the hinterland of the Baltic Sea every year in the summer months since 2018. It offers us peace and relaxation. Located directly on the Warnow, you can go swimming, canoeing and stand-up paddling. There is a playground for the children not far from the bathing area. Cycling is no problem around here, there are cycle paths and roads with little traffic. The small town of Schwaan can also be reached by bike. There are plenty of shops, restaurants and a great ice cream parlor. Rostock and Warnemünde can be reached in a short time by S-Bahn or by car. The campsite operator and the staff are uncomplicated and friendly and take care of the guests' needs. The sanitary facilities are clean and in good order. A washing machine and tumble dryer are available. The small snack bar "Silberwald" is also to be recommended, the food tastes good and the offer is okay. For us, there's nothing to complain about.

"Very nice and quiet place - Spacious nature campsite where not everyone has to look at the neighbor's table, located directly on the cleanest water in Europe (EU test 2023)! Guests can expect plenty of peace and relaxation, friendly staff and a wide variety of flora and fauna. Otters, vipers, beavers, raccoons and pine martens can be found here with a bit of luck, as well as deer, lots of squirrels and the occasional fox.

"Everything was beautiful...... - We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. The sanitary facilities were always clean and modern. A quiet place and clean. Mrs. Voigt does a great job. Not to forget the kiosk, great food and the fresh bread rolls. This place is recommendable.....we will definitely be back. Peter and Gerda Große

"Directly on the Warnow - Nice campsite with lively and quieter areas, partly quite shady, but also meadow. The sanitary areas are far apart, so a bicycle is useful. Cleanliness okay. Schwan is easily accessible by bike, from there you can continue by train. No store on site, but a kiosk with bread roll service and a Norma, as well as other supermarkets in the village.

"Quiet site with large pitches, for campers pitches under trees - Quiet location, directly on the Warne. Swimming area with sandy beach in the grounds. Ideal for excursions to Rostock and cycling tours in the surrounding area. Stores and restaurants nearby. Easy-going management, no signs at every corner. Showers are charged by the minute.

"everything is good - Completely uncomplicated staff. You certainly can't please every camper, but at peak times you can happily wait five minutes longer. We are on vacation and are stress-free while the staff rotates. If you're looking for a place beyond animation and "we'll look after your unimaginative children", this is the place for you. Real bugs still crawl here and the children learn about nature away from their four walls.

Located on the banks of the Warnow River, a small brook running through meadows and therefore having waters of drinking quality, and about 25 km south of Rostock, this camp site is set in almost unspoiled countryside and boasts a …central position that is unequalled in all Mecklenburg County. From here it is just a 25 minute drive to the beaches of the Baltic Sea. The privately run camp is open throughout the year and provides the full range of comforts one might expect. Almost half of its area is wooded. The old stocks of pine trees let the light come through and make fine plots for both caravans and tents. Sunny plots in the open fields are also available. A small sandy beach alongside the river invites young and old to bathe or splash around. In case you don't want to do the cooking all the time, there are a comfortable restaurant serving good plain food and a beer garden for you, too.
