"Very nice, clean campsite - The access road to the campsite, including the waiting area, is large enough and the barrier opens with license plate recognition. The check-in went very smoothly, even though we arrived much later than planned. The site has terraced pitches and two sanitary buildings, which were always very clean - a big compliment! A little tip from us: take a long power cable with you, as the power columns are not always in the immediate vicinity of the pitch ;-) Tent pitch for groups and playground for children available. Even if the weather is bad, it won't be boring, because you can play billiards and table football (for a fee). The restaurant/bistro on site is also highly recommended. The price is absolutely fine and the food is really delicious. Many, many thanks to Manuela & Jörg for a great and relaxing stay! We would love to come back. :-)

"Friendly campsite - This friendly place is beautifully situated for hiking, cycling tours (more like trekking or mountain biking), but it is mountainous. You can tell that the owners are campers themselves and have a healthy sense for the needs of their guests. Everything is great for the price.

"Short trip July 2024 - A really great campsite with lots of charm and a positive atmosphere. Cleanliness, friendliness, size of the pitches, location of the site, catering, atmosphere among the campers ... Everything was just TOP! And then there was the wonderful outdoor pool right next door... I've rarely been so positively impressed from the very first moment. Well-deserved 5 stars from me and keep up the good work.

"Everything is fine - A great campsite, everything fits. Jörg and Manuela very nice, sanitary always clean, bistro and service very good. Outdoor pool right next door in good weather. Great for walking the dog. We were there for the 3rd time and certainly not for the last time 😊

"Ideal for cycling tours - The site is ideally located for cycling tours. Thanks to its proximity to Untersteinach train station, you don't need to move your car to explore northern Franconia. You can get everywhere easily. Although located directly below the main road, the site is very quiet, especially at night. The meadow pitches are slightly sloping and there is plenty of water and electricity nearby. The owners run their site with a lot of love, you can tell. Everything is very clean and well-kept. In the off-season, the restaurant is closed and the bread service is discontinued. But you can be in the town center in five minutes by bike. A supermarket is just around the corner. The only thing that is outdated is the prescribed midday rest, which is typical for Germany.

Unser Campingplatz Stadtsteinach liegt in wunderschöner Frankenwaldlage und bietet vor allem Wanderern, Fahrradfahrern und Ruhesuchenden ideale Bedingungen für einen Urlaub, bei dem Sie die Seele baumeln lassen können. Die umliegenden Städte Kulmbach, Kronach, Bayreuth, Coburg , Bamberg, Hof sind alle …in maximal 1 Autostunde erreichbar und bieten Kulturinteressierten viele Besichtigungsmöglichkeiten. Mehrere Thermalbäder sind gut erreichbar, ein Freibad befindet sich in 100 Metern Entfernung über die Strasse und kann für 0,50 € besucht werden. Wir haben am Platz unser neu modernisiertes Bistro "Campsite" mit schönem Biergarten. Geniesen Sie das Bier der Stadtsteinacher Brauerei Schübel, eine Auswahl an guten Weinen, sowie Kaffespezialitäten und frisch zubereitetes Essen. Von Fränkisch bis Mediteran. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind in 300 Metern Entfernung (Norma) sowie in 1,5 Km Entfernung (Rewe) zu finden, mehrere Metzgereien und Bäckereien gibt es in der Ortschaft. Am Platz bieten wir auf Vorbestellung einen Brötchenservice an. Ein kleiner Kiosk mit Eis und regionalem Honig, ect. gehört auch zu unserem Angebot dazu. Platzweites WLAN, 60 Minuten pro Tag frei!
