"Small good place - A small, beautiful place. Good for hiking, cycling, wellness, relaxation. What is missing is a small kiosk for newspapers, sun cream, bread rolls? We will be back.

"Camping without recreational value - We, a couple, were on this pitch in early April 2023. Plots very dilapidated, mud, partly unkempt lawn mixed with gravel, leaves from fall 22 not yet disposed of, tree and hedge trimming very neglected, water taps too far away, electricity connections new, but without meters for a "hefty" electricity flat rate of € 7. In total for 2 people with caravan, car and tourist tax 32 € per day and night. Sanitary also not clean, toilet bowls damaged..... and due to the dirty paths a lot of dirt and grime in both sanitary buildings. In addition to the dirt, it also smells strongly of urine. Reception staff especially Mr. Halbhuber aloof and arrogant. All in all, camping to get used to. The only advantage is the proximity to the thermal baths about 8 minutes walk through the spa gardens. But this advantage does not outweigh the shortcomings mentioned above. After 3 days we went to the CP Maincamping Lichtenfels. About 6 km from Bad STE. Friendly welcome, perfect briefing, very clean sanitary facilities and clean pitches and an absolutely good price/performance ratio. Disadvantage: you have to take the 6 km to the thermal baths by car or e-bike. Bicycle paths very well developed. We felt at home here and would love to come back. Passionate campers

"Good middle class - Actually a nice place... Reservation and check-in was unproblematic, the staff very friendly. There is a large parking lot in front of the site where you can leave your stuff to check in in peace. Some of the pitches are uneven (long distances for the crank supports and height difference for the WW door) and the surface is stony and unkempt. Fresh water was only available at one sanitary building, which was also where the gray water and chemical toilets were emptied. This meant very long distances. The normal taps distributed around the site were all out of order. The sanitary facilities were clean, but with full occupancy they were probably too small. They have been renovated, but the construction is borderline. You can order bread rolls in advance, but that's all the supplies. There is a snack bar at the indoor pool, which is mainly frequented by the indoor pool users. I found four euros for a bottle of beer a bit outrageous, but otherwise the prices were ok. For all other errands you have to go to the local supermarkets. The short walk to the spa gardens is nice and there is also an illuminated path into town in the evening. The price-performance ratio is good, but I would gladly spend a few euros more if the maintenance of the pitch was a little better.

Gleich ausserhalb des Campingplatz-Geländes beginnt der Kurpark und die Anlagen der Obermain Therme. Neben Stellflächen für Wohnwagen und Zelte ist eine Fläche für Wohnmobile auf dem angelegt worden. Natürlich sind alle notwendigen Anschlüsse sowie Entsorgungseinrichtungen vorhanden.
