"Almost at the end of the world..................... - We wanted to visit a different area of Rügen, Mönchgut, the south-easternmost tip of the island. A new view, away from the island hustle and bustle of the larger destinations. Very good public transport connections, which are free due to the spa tax. Buses with trailers are regularly available for cyclists, making further tours possible. Occasionally there is also a ferry service from Thiessow harbor, but not daily. Great sandy beach, sailing, surfing, kiting, hiking, cycling, all very well combined. Tip for fish lovers: Mönchguter Fischerklause in Thiessow, be sure to book a table in advance! Tip for photo enthusiasts: You can see sunrises and sunsets over the Baltic Sea here!

"Gladly again - Very nice place. Clean, beautiful sanitary blocks. Friendly staff in the kiosk and at reception. Short walk to the beach. Great sandy beach. Cozy harbor nearby with the world's best fish sandwiches. Free WLAN.

"Camping uncomplicated - Discovered by chance and booked immediately...3 days became 1 week and if the weather had been better .... then it would have been 2 weeks. Simply superb. Everything was thought of here.

"Lively place on the street - Thiessow is located on Möchgut and the site is quite long between the road and the Bodden landscape. July 21 was mosquito alarm and unfortunately also jellyfish because of the west wind. A great beach accessible in a few minutes by gate and crossing the road, textile, nudist and dog divided, unfortunately many do not stick to it. The road is urban and during the day 30 zone, unfortunately this is also ignored a lot, at night is even raced, it is loud. To explore the peninsula Mönchgut by bike very fit, with the car rather a pain, because it is megsavoll in the summer. The cycle/footpath is unfortunately too narrow, even in the season, and there is often a risk of collisions because everyone is walking and driving along it. The scenery is beautiful, of course, but I wouldn't come back again

Ruhig auf einem schmalen Küstenstreifen zwischen Ostsee und Bodden gelegen, wenige Schritte zum feinsandigen Badestrand, eine Verkaufsstelle für Waren des täglichen Bedarfs und …ein Kulturangebot für Groß und Klein lassen kaum Wünsche offen. Unser Campingplatz verfügt über insgesamt 330 Stellplätze für Zelte, Caravans und Wohnmobile. Davon: 230 Plätze - Caravan - Reisemobil - große Zelte / ca. 80 - 100 m² 68 Plätze - kleine Zelte (Iglu), max. für 2 Personen / ca. 25 m² 32 Plätze - Komfort-Stellplätze (Strom, Wasser, Abwasser) Sie haben von Thiessow aus eine direkte Anbindung an das Rad- und Wanderwegenetz der Insel Rügen. Gastronomische Einrichtungen befinden sich in unmittelbarer Nähe.
