"Quiet natural location next to a castle - Nice location, right next to a castle. You can discover a lot here. We only stayed one night and didn't use the swimming lake. The food in the restaurant was ok.

"Dirty campsite in a great location - This was the worst place in terms of cleanliness that we have experienced. Wash house too small for too many people. No soap, no disinfectant. 2 showers. Water ran over from the side shower. No garbage cans. At the garbage place 1 container that overflowed. All the garbage piled up next to it. Night lighting on the paths defective. The restaurant was also not inviting. The beach chairs and chair cushions full of stains. Too bad, the location is beautiful.

"Passing through - If you're looking for peace and quiet, you'll find it here. We stayed one night, I wouldn't want to take everything with me (toilet paper, soap and towel) when going to the toilet.

"Quiet place near A 7 - Place chosen because of proximity to the A 7 - at the transit sites at the small lake the highway was not heard, pure peace, swimming lake at the restaurant very refreshing, restaurant delicious - the only thing that bothered us was that the lawns at the lake were very unkempt and there was no way to empty normal gray water, the sanitary building is just too far away for that

"Quiet place by the lake without the hustle and bustle - The campsite is in a quiet location away from any roads. You can hike or just go for a walk directly from the site. The pitches for short breaks down by the lake are not yet fully equipped with CE plugs; an adapter for a normal socket is required. The restaurant is very good, the Zinn family focuses on regional cuisine and organic products. There is also a natural swimming pool next to the restaurant. The path to the sanitary building, which is located in the upper part of the campsite, is a little long, so there is no need to rush. The same goes for the disposal of the camping toilet, so it's better to drive up the hill by car. There are no shopping facilities in Wallenstein, there is a trout farm 4 km away and in Remsfeld - approx. 7 km away - there is a bakery, drinks shop and supermarket. The place is very suitable for a quiet, relaxing vacation, who needs animation is wrong here.

"Beautiful natural place - Place is highly recommended. We were just passing through. We received a very friendly welcome and were given a pitch right by the small natural lake. Toilet facilities were a short walk away. However, they were newly renovated and very clean. Great place with lots of peace and quiet.

Von Norden BAB 7 Ausfahrt Homberg/Efze, Knüllwald, ca. 45 km südlich von Kassel, weiter in Richtung Schwarzenborn, am Kreisel bei der ARAL-Tankstelle links abbiegen, durch den Ort Remsfeld, nach 2 km den Ort Reddingshausen durchfahren, weitere 3 km bis zur …Ortschaft Völkershain, nach der Ortschaft rechts abbiegen nach Wallenstein. In der Ortsmitte links Richtung Naturbad und Campingplatz einbiegen, in 500 m Ziel erreicht. Von Süden BAB 7 Ausfahrt Bad Hersfeld-West, Neuenstein in Richtung Homberg/Efze fahren, durch den Ort Neuenstein-Aua, danach rechts abbiegen nach Mühlbach und weiter bis nach Ellingshausen.
