"Stopover - We used the site as a stopover before visiting Bamberg. Terraced pitches, quite spacious. Small pond at the tent meadow with playground. Sanitary facilities at the entrance, quite modern with large showers and rain shower head. We had a pitch at the back, quite a long walk. A steep, narrow staircase leads directly to the sanitary facilities and reception. Bread roll service (very expensive) Reception not manned, only by telephone. Treetop walk only 1 km. Easy to reach by bike.

"Beautiful campsite in great surroundings - A really nice campsite with a great location. Waldwipfelweg Steigerwald within walking distance (40 minutes) or easy to reach by bike (15 minutes). Super nice natural swimming pool which is run by a few locals. Campsite also suitable for groups, no disturbance of the peace at night!

"Great vacation, the whole family was thrilled, children happy - We spent our first family camping vacation at this campsite and had a very nice time. The site was clean and well-kept, water and electricity were available directly at the site. The sanitary buildings were clean, intact and in good condition. We didn't visit the restaurant, but it looked quite good. There is a natural swimming pool in the immediate vicinity (200m), which is also supposed to be good (we didn't visit this either) On the site itself there is a large playground with various equipment, lots of space for the children to run around, some animals (chickens, rabbits) and a fishing pond, which invites you to go fishing, but is also fun for the children. There are wooden rafts with which the children can sail across the lake/pond. Our children were busy all the time and were exhausted and exhausted every evening. That's how it should be!

"Whitsun 2022 - Three beautiful days for hiking - I made a last-minute request for the Whitsun weekend in 2022 and immediately got a place. I asked for a tent pitch with electricity, got a caravan pitch and then only paid for the tent pitch. Nice extras with fire bowl + wood and bread roll service were possible. The site manager regularly checked to make sure everything was okay.

"Something to relax and be active - We liked the leisure facilities and friendliness of the operator as well as the location close to nature - in summer there is also an outdoor pool next door. The treetop path, the hiking and cycling trails (old railroad line towards Bamberg) are inviting, there are also many quickly accessible destinations by car (Bamberg, Nuremberg, Würzburg and other smaller centers). Cafés, pubs and butchers in the village are good, but unfortunately there are not (or no longer) more options for shopping. Playground for children and the stream are attractive. Sanitary facilities could be a bit tight in summer when fully occupied, but were clean and well maintained. Pitches of different sizes. Bread delivery service on the pitch, but you can also get there quickly by bike.

"Good place in the Steigerwald - By chance I ended up in the Steigerwald and found this place! A quiet place in a similarly situated village. Situated in the middle of the rural idyll of the Steigerwald. A very well-kept site with modern and clean sanitary facilities and friendly staff. A restaurant on the site is said to be very good, but was unfortunately closed during our visit. The site is generously parceled out with electricity and water. The price-performance ratio is okay. There is a small pond in the grounds and a natural swimming pool (unfortunately already closed for seasonal reasons when we visited). There is a magnificent monastery church in the village, which is more like a cathedral and which you would expect to find in a metropolis, but hardly in a place as small as Ebrach! Very worth seeing!
