"Acceptable for an overnight stay - For a stopover on the way to another destination, the place is acceptable. We wouldn't spend a longer stay here under any circumstances. It's not quiet enough for us. Right now, for example, another plane is flying over the site. We only come here because the campsite is conveniently located on the way to Normandy, about halfway there for us. The staff are very friendly and speak English if required. The location directly on the Somme is also attractive.

"Great for a stopover, and certainly great in other ways too - Many mobile homes/permanent campers, but also pitches; reservation is advisable, even for one night; pool and tennis court on site, fishing available. Unfortunately, the approach is poorly signposted. Quiet at night; Quite low planting (few trees) due to low hedges. Pitches are grassy, spacious and level.

"Pure tranquillity - The site is mostly occupied by permanent campers, but has nice pitches for day guests. We received a very friendly welcome in English and were allocated a pitch. The whole site is very well-kept and remarkably quiet. Bread and croissants can be pre-ordered for the next morning. The sanitary facilities have just been renovated. In mid-May '23 the workmen are not quite finished yet, it will probably take a few more weeks, but everything is usable. A word about the showers, the hot water seems to come from far away. Turn the temperature control all the way to the right and keep pressing the button, it can take a few minutes. From the rear exit of the campsite you come directly to the "Canal de la Somme", which is a wonderful place to hike. My tip is to walk or cycle along the path to the west (left). After about 4 km, the cycle path joins a road that runs parallel to the canal. If you are on foot, you should use the small bridge at this point to cross to the other bank. Two kilometers further on you will come to a restaurant "Domaine des P'tits Bouchons" with a very nice outdoor area. Dogs are welcome.

"Worthwhile stopover in the Vallée de Somme - The site is just a few minutes from the A1 highway. I made a stopover here and was amazed by the fantastic landscape. I then stayed for 4 days and cycled almost 100 kilometers along the banks of the Somme river on my MTB. The operators are very nice and helpful, the sanitary facilities are not the newest but they look clean and well-maintained, as does the whole site. The toilets are not inside the building but outside. The showers are inside. The noise level on the pitch is within reasonable limits. However, if you're looking for complete silence, you're in the wrong place. There is a "bread roll service" on site - these have to be ordered in advance in the evening. A good place that I will choose again as a stopover on my next trip to Normandy.

"Very nice place, but toilets outside - Very friendly owners, but toilets are outside and there are only three showers at a time. Bring your own toilet paper. As a couple with our van we paid €19.70 per night. (end of May 2019)

Am Platz gibt es einen Brötchenservice, eine Bar, einen Swimmingpool und große Duschen (mit kostenlosem Warmwasser). 8 km von Peronne, dort sind Supermärkte und …eine guteInfrastruktur, Angelseen sind ebenfalls in der Nähe.
