"Relaxation - We were here for the first time in 1990 and little has changed. Infrastructure, water quality, people, ....

"Meeting place for surfers and free spirits - A very simple, open CP located directly by the sea and therefore preferred by many surfers and motorcyclists! No partitions, shade and sun, reasonably usable sanitary facilities, friendly staff. Water is not always available, power points are often a long way away, the campsite is somewhere between a regular pitch and wild camping. We met Katinka here in June 2018, a woman from Starnberg who, at the ripe old age of 80, still drives to the campsite alone in her camper van and surfs here! About the places in Finikounda: this one is a surfer's paradise, Anemomilos is the bourgeois place, Finikes the small lonely one, Tsapi the insider tip for diving into a lonely Greek bay, Loutsa very nice and well organized, also a good tip.

"Good mix of beach and CP in the west of the Peloponnese - Nice CP, no fixed pitches, pitches with and without shade. Sandy beach very nice, ideal for surfing as the wind is mostly sideshore. Separation from the beach by reed belt with integrated beach showers. Some long distances to cover for power supply. Owners very friendly and helpful (extension cable!!) Restaurant on site reasonably priced with changing dishes. Finikounda within easy walking distance. Annoying was the nightly persistent barking and howling of felt all dogs in neighboring olive groves

"Beautiful CP. - One of the best campsites after a round trip to the Peloponnese. Beautiful pitches - free to choose, not parceled out, very cheap, also the restaurant on site very cheap with daily changing dishes to visit. Quiet. Large, informal beach. Sometimes very windy days - but good for surfers.

"Not very good - Internal places are fine, places close to the beach are very dusty and very few trees. Management are not very available. Services are not so clean and quite busy. Tavern is quite good.

"simply great! - we-have-spent-a-great-holiday-not-far-from-finikounta-with-a-bike-or-by-foot-you-can-easily-reach-a-tavernous-butcher-supermarket!
